I just couldn’t justify spending £400 on something I already have. It’s a shame Hasbro didn’t improve the landing gears or redesigned new compartments at the back of the ship. Nice weathering tho. Great review chaps. 👍🏻

Does your cockpit and escape pod door stay closed on your new? Guess those are a bit too flimsy.

Hi Michael! Nice comparing and how sweet Dylan was a good help on unboxing this one. I do like both versions, but I think the Galaxy's Edge Falcon has a better paint scheme. Also I like the fact that Galaxy's Edge Falcon has the two different dishes, so you can choose. Nice one! I can still order the Galaxy's Edge Falcon on discount, but I have this storage problem. In order to live a carefree life I've decided to move to a small house a year ago and it gives me more freedom, but the price to pay is lesser space to collect. I doesn't matter, I can't own the whole Star Wars collection from vintage to modern. Instead I enjoy your unboxing's.

Personally, I have to say I prefer the deco on the Legacy Falcon. The one cool (unique) feature the Galaxy's Edge one has is the fact you get a choice of satellite dishes for display. TBH though, either one of these would have been the version of the Falcon I always wished I had when I was a kid.

The Galaxy Falcon engine lights definitely seem more intense but could it be due to the lighting in the Actioin Figure Cave? It'd be great to turn off the Cave lights and get both Falcons in a single shot to test their engine lights.

Great review! and I personally love that you made it a family affair. And yes, as much as I love my legacy version, I'm expecting my Galaxy's Edge version in the mail. gonna be one huge box at my doorstep. : )

One thing the Legacy one comes with though that isn't with the new one is the Pilot SOLO for collecting purposes I think it counts as a keeper and is the new one as Solid as the Legacy 2008 Falcon I think that also needs to be addressed

Great looking Falcon..not sure I need 2 so will bypass this one..really glad you got it I hear they are hard to get..enjoyed the review.

I stopped short on pulling the trigger on this one, I do like it better than the previous falcon's, also glad to see the dish is interchangeable, never liked the round dish, always thought Han and Chewie were watching Dish Network, I still might pick one of the new ones up though.

I don't want to knock the Legacy Falcon in any way because it's great, but in terms of painting the Galaxy Falcon looks like a real movie prop

Had no desire for this Falcon but damn they really hit it with those paint apps! Costing me money Mike lol

$400 is a ridiculous price! The improvements don't justify the price, especially if you own the original legacy falcon. To people who own the original, I'd say stick with that and try and weather it yourself, if the weathering is really important.

So, the landing gear is fixed ? These aren't really made for kids to play with....(?) 😆💕

I have the legacy version and bought mine for £340. it has everything except for just one dejarik chess piece otherwise its immaculate. Spending anothe £400 for me is impossible even though the weathering is better ,many have weathered their own legacy and can be easily done. I was expecting a lot more with the £400 price tag and disappointed they didnt put more features in. Will stick with what i got as i only got it a few months ago. Great review.

A used Legacy in good condition is being priced more than the new BMF, and almost double and up for a new Legacy. I would keep them both, one put away and the other in display. Would you have gotten rid of a '79 MF? Disney Plus, is making a lot more Star Wars fans.

Got smugglers run version pay 310 new in box 40 dollars to have it shipped to me so I think I got a steal on it. Also bought rogue one at-act paid 170 new in box and 30 for shipping it's remote controlled and fires nerf darts think I got a steal on this one too

I paid 75€ for it at ToysR‘Us as a kid. And even then knew this is an very great deal but f*cking 400+ for the same shit with a bit of paint wash now is nothing but ridiculous. I gave mine a black wash and a thin matte clear coat and I honestly think it looks better than the new one. The paint cost me 12€ together....
