Star Wars Home Theater Renovation Intro 

I think I just drooled on my phone...I can't wait to see how this turns out!

Top 10 Reasons I Watch Movies at Home: 1. I don't have to leave my home, drive somewhere and sit next to noisy ill-tempered strangers. 2. My theater is NOT a "gun-free zone" so it's far less dangerous and I have access to many weapons. 3. It saves me a lot of money over buying box-office tickets and theater food. 4. I have access to plenty of good-priced food. 5. My A/V system is as good as a THX theater. 6. Pause, rewind, fast-forward and volume controls are important to me. 7. I can watch any film whenever I want, not just what's playing that week. 8. I have a soft comfortable reclining couch with a foot rest and cup holder. 9. I control the temperature in my home theater so it's just right. 10. Best of all, I can make out with my wife in private.

imagine the side walls where the paintings are were actually led screens, and had a the stars and ships flying around using software to stitch the video wall. hit a warp speed effect and it would actually feel like flying through the galaxy... now that would be a game changer.

I'm a few years late to view this but thank you for sharing a tour of your cinema setup. It looks incredible (imo).

A full 8-9 days to do all that.....8-9 months for the rest of us to pull off something like that!

the only problem with a star wars theme is if somebody went in there to watch titanic or the terminator, then it would be kind of weird with all of the star wars stuff everywhere.

Not one single seat in the centerline of the room. The first and third rows you can’t get centered entirely and the middle row you’d have to sit in the crack of the love seat. How do you spend six figures on a customized home theater and not have one single optimized seating position?

I think this room was featured in an issue of a home theater magazine decades ago. And is out of date now. :) Need to update it to Dolby Atmos. .And DT'S X

would have been nice to give the PROPER screen size, 125" wide = what in diagonal? I have 93" but can zoom to 120" in its current configuration.

Not only does the owner have great taste in movies (hence the theme of the theater), but he has great taste in music as well (the poster outside) :D

Really gorgeous and amazing. The only nitpick I have is the screen seems small for the attention to detail and professionalism of the theater. But, I can only envy what someone else had made!

Did you consider the screen update to support 16:9? I've been seeing a lot of movies that use that aspect ratio switching and it would be such an inconvenience to some films if you don't have that support. I've seen Tron Legacy, Transformers (IMAX edition), The Dark Knight and Star Trek: Into Darkness as pure examples of this.

New here. I really like the Star Wars theme. I bet it sounds pretty darn awesome in there. If I had someone draw an awesome mural like this it would have to be on something that's removable in case I move from that house. Too beautiful to leave behind.

Fix the audio

Great to know your audio is better than the audio in the recording. Full acoustic renovation needs to be done on your video.

All is fantastic except for the gimmicky Atmos.

Screen seems very wide compared to the verticall width of the screen.

Did you ever post the follow up video for this room build? One of the more original looking HT rooms in a huge room. Has to be a custom home. Odd the projector was shaking. I'd change the entry doors so it looks more futuristic. Or "SW -like". Spent all that effort in the room...perhaps a custom acoustic black door? :) No hard surfaces. Was the room sound proofed (suppressed)? (e.g. in-wall acoustic batting, ceramic seal around the outlets, 2 layers of 5/8" drywall...).

Damn that looks cool, sad there was no follow up date video. Fuq all those jealous haters below!

A good video and exciting to see this theater. However this fool is talking we can NOT hear what he is saying.

Saw one of these type videos and thought it was cool. Now getting a bunch of similar vids with more rich people trying to outdo one another on their lavish spending hobby got old quick.
