@@haoheanchan1763 the first cut isn't bad because there is a break in the duel, Anakin and Obi Wan are split and unable to fight for a moment, and it cuts to the other group There's the cut of him waking up which has one of the best lines in the movie as well as show how insanely evil Sidious is, and the cut itself isn't bad The third one cuts over to Yoda and Sidious in the senate chamber's center piece with the French Horn going into overdrive, and that cut ends with Sidious doing a slash that cuts perfectly into Anakin grabbing Obi Wan's throat The fourth cut has the transitions to Duel of the Fates and shows a full on force battle between Sidious and Yoda, ending with Yoda falling. It then cuts back to Anakin and Obi Wan for the tightrope part and the cover with the music in full overdrive, and while it cuts to a boring scene it's a necessary cut because of the way the cover scene ends, they're in a grapple lock after the most iconic shot of the movie, that's the perfect time to cut

@@samh7805 Adding to that, it was impossible to save the sequel trilogy from TLJ AND the death of Carrie Fisher. Say what you will about the Rise of Skywalker, but that they managed to include Leia in such large capacity using only deleted scenes and the like from previous movies is genuinely impressive. So considering the skills of whichever editor managed to achieve that, could you imagine how much better the sequels would have been if there was an actual plan? If JJ hadn't had to try and recover his love letter to the OT from Rian, or if Rian had the freedom to explore his ideas in full rather than remove our preconceptions of the previous movies in one episode? Fucking damn it Disney.

The balance of the force is very well represented in this part of the piece, Anakin showing his ability to use the dark side and being chosen since he was conceived by the force
