I don’t know if I agree, it seems to me that evil people are the ones who are most obsessed with the idea of evil. Hitler convinced Germany that the Jews were evil, Mao convinced China that the Han Chinese were evil, and Lenin convinced Russia that Capitalism was evil. Certainly some people use moral ambiguity as a defense, but if you want to convince people to do evil, you have to convince them that they are acting against evil.

is that scene at the end from a star wars thing? the one with the fat black woman ( i assume thats lizzo?) it looks like a cheap powers rangers pantomime. i saw the obiwan show with child lea getting chased. the young actor runs like toddler with gait problems, and men are chasing her like the keystone cops. Nothing wrong with zany humour when used correctly, but this wasnt intended. it was so horribly shot / directed/ story boarded / whatever, words cant express. a 10yr old would be going wtf is this shite? i know because i remember in primary school all of us hated caravan of courage, bc it was childish crap for infants. we were like 8 or 9.

I just saw an interview of Sam Witwer who played Starkiller in Force Unleaahed, explain why angry meditation was a thing. The Sith Lords arent taught to meditate they bend the force to their will. Thats exactly the point. I always found the "But there were people on the Deathstar!" argument weird, or lets say: people who really used that as an argument against Luke scared me. So the people on the Deathstar erradicated species like the Genoshans, enslaved other species and destroyed 4 planets already when Luke finally blew it up. At which point it becomes morally "ok" to take out that thing? Only after the tenth destroyed planet? Sure, Stormtroopers were conscripted or fresh from the academy, but if you don't desert after you see that your boss goes around and blows up whole planets, even your home planet, then its on you. There are enough examples in the EU of imperials deserting as soon as they learned from Alderaan (i.e. Tycho Celchu, cool guy, one of my favorite Rogue Squadron members), so there are no excuses. These Disney people are still trying to character assassinate Luke, trying to tarnish everything he has done.

As a Korean, the way they presented Lee Jung-jae was just awful. Most Koreans really don’t like it. I doubt the writer of The Acolyte has seen anything Lee Jung-jae's been in other than Squid Game. I don't know what Disney is thinking-do they really believe that just shoving in an Asian actor will boost their revenue in Asia because it's the same race? This is gonna flop, I guarantee it. Anakin killing the younglings shows why moral relativism is nonsense. Some actions, like murdering innocent kids, are universally wrong. George Lucas made the movies to show children the difference between right and wrong. So having an actor now saying “there is no good and evil in Star Wars, it just depends which side you’re on” is inherently opposed to the core values of Star Wars.

I just wish that someday there will be a star wars movie based on KotOR 2 or at least with same quality of scenario. That game made all conflicts in star wars movies look like a fight in kindergarten. It goes beyond war between sith and jedi, and makes The Force itself a power that probably wants to destroy the universe. In my opinion Disney should've continue this plot instead of making another movies for children

It just exemplifies that he isn't a star wars fan, he just was able to get the role to make money. Which is fine to a point, you don't HAVE to be a fan of a "universe" to be an actor in it but it certainly helps to be one and allows for a better acting performance. Look at Henry C from the Witcher, he LOVES the Witcher series and he played so well in the TV series BECAUSE he is such a fan.

It's not that he particularly dislikes his role of Han Solo, it's the fact that is the only thing people know him for. Not to mention he also felt that Han didn’t have much gravitas/depth or purpose within the story. He tried to get Lucas to let Han die, to have his death transfer agency to the other characters. Lucas didn’t go for it. So, Ford has specific memories over the reached hope for the character, that was denied. Then again when filming was complete on The Force Awakens, Ford told JJ Abrams that he was pleased with where the sequel trilogy had taken Han. So he got his hope in the end for his character even if it was forty years later.
