Now imagine a combat system like that with the force power like in the games. I don't get why they are not getting more creative with the whole force stuff. Seems to me everything has to go by the rules of the lore nowadays, would be fun to have something that just turns the awesomeness to 11.
Totally man, another game with amazing elements to pull from was Jedi Knight 2. Blaster and Lightsaber combat, you can choose between the two whenever you want, and when you're using a blaster you still have access to force powers, plus the double jumps and slick movement for the time. Most modern game devs definitely didn't learn any lessons from their predecessors. I'd say that's a real shame, for Star Wars especially, given the sheer amount of stories you could tell, and mechanics that would be possible these days.
This would be a cool concept for the next Fallen Order game, or the Ahsoka series. Determined to end the Jedi threat once and for all, the Empire revives one of Darth Vader's personal projects; a young but immensely powerful Jedi tortured, brainwashed and trained by Vader to hunt Jedi down. Codename: Project Starkiller. Awakening from stasis, Starkiller remembers Vader's command; hunt down and destroy the Jedi, and everyone who gets in your way. And that just so happens to include every Imperial within the facility.
@@patrioticjustice9040 it probably doesn’t make sense because after episode 6 Luke is the most powerful force wielder in the galaxy and a dark side force wielder running around would probably be enough to unify what’s left of the empire which we know thanks to the various books didn’t happen.
@@Squiddy-go1du Palpatine unified the Empire when he resurrected himself, Roan Fel formed the Fel Empire from the Imperial Remnant, and Darth Krayt ruled over his One Sith Empire. So it technically did happen. This is a split timeline. Ahsoka Tano and Din Djarin didn't exist in Legends. In this timeline, Starkiller is pretty much the Star Wars version of the Winter Soldier. Vader uses him the way Palpatine uses Vader; to track and hunt down his enemies when Vader is too caught up in serving Palpatine's bidding. With Vader gone, upon reawakening from hibernation, all Starkiller would have is his programmed command; to hunt down and slay Darth Vader's enemies. He obviously wouldn't know that Luke is Vader's son, but I can see this as a very big threat that would make Luke and Ahsoka team up to vanquish before he can begin to build a new Jedi Order. It would also be a source of conflict between Luke and Ahsoka; as Ahsoka senses the amount of death that Starkiller has caused and views him as a monster no different than Vader, whereas Luke senses how tortured Starkiller is within the suit and wants to help free him as he freed his father.
if he were the real starkiller he would strangle them with his right hand and with his left he would mutilate them with his saber and he would electrocute the survivors
The best way to introduce him in canon would be to have him be the son of palpatine aka Reys dad who doesn’t know he’s the son of palpatine and is trained by Sidious without Vader knowing and that’s why he leaves no witnesses etc. and also explains why he is extremely powerful without it being a load of BS. Then he can fall in love with Reys mom and have Rey blah blah blah doesn’t wanna be a sith anymore runs away hides Rey on Jakku. It just fits.
Tbh he doesn’t even have to do anything that shows his power he could just have a non combat cameo, it would just be cool to know he exists and leave it up to fan interpretation if he is as powerful as he was in the games
@James Dube Both of you do have a point, would be easy to re-introduce him to the current story like that but it would be (at least in my eyes) very disrespectful to the past character by making them the father of perhaps the most well known Mary Sue currently.
Apparently Filoni considered bringing him in as one but decided against it since he's too overpowered to bring over as is and if they did they would have to nerf him so much and change his story around to the point he'd be a totally new character, so why bother doing it in the first place.
looks awesome, a new force unleashed game as lord starkiller in this graphic would be...the best star wars game since TFU1 and jedi knight jedi academy
I hope they really work on and update the character animations for the next one. I loved Fallen order, but you could tell it was slapped together in a lot of ways. Seeing as though EA looks down on single player games at the time, I'm surprised it had the funding/ got made at all
What’s the music in the background? In-Game? Made me feel like this is an ultra redeeming Starkiller who’s actually come to destroy the Inquistors from within, but ultimately, like in the light side ending, to this time be defeated though by a more matured and powerful Darth Vader.
When Cal does that, it looks awesome and like he's doing great, but when Starkiller does that, it seems like he's toying with them and giving the least amount of effort.
I have some gameplay with this music in. It says “copyright protected content found, the owner allows the content to be used on RU-vid” does that mean that I can monetise a video like usual and earn from it, or does the owner take any earnings made from the video?
lol, unfortunately im not that talented to make a starkiller themed fallen order styled game. It's a collection of mods (you can find the mods I used in the pinned comment)
I rarely play the cutting edge of video games that arent MMO's but the graphics and animations really are incredible in the more triple A modern games that arent having to also deal with servers and open worlds and a ton of peeps.
@@Lu1zF3l1pe weak? This is just realistic saber combat in the SW universe, and applying said combat to starkillers power level, as cool as starkiller is, he’s way too op for the current universe and you know it
@@eclipped no lmao haven't you watched Obi Wan or read canon Star Wars comics? Damn haven't you seen fuck*** Darth Vader in this game? There is nothing of realistic in this combat, he took way too long and had to have way too much effort to put so few Stormtroopers down
@@dylantello124 Because the biggest mistake Star Wars has EVER done was basically make Vader irrelevant in EU lore. They're doing well in making him into a terrifying villain, how he's supposed to be.
Still bummed we didnt get a force unleashed 3. We were supposed to! It was around the time disney bought lucas arts that the studio that would make force unleashed 3 was fired or moved to another project
TFU is still canon. Lucas himself helped work on the game and even stated the lightside ending was canon to HIS works. Notice how Disney has NEVER explored the actual creation of the rebellion?
@@megaman37456 it was canon to that universe. He said the light ending is canon to TFU, not the entire main continuity. It wouldnt be possible for it to be canon in main timeline. Didnt starkiller kill the emperor?
@@undeadinside3571 from what I remember he almost killed him but couldn’t because the emperor was to powerful so he just kept him distracted so the rebel leaders could escape.
@@OG-ColorfulAbyss. nah it feels like swinging a bat, most troopers take at least 2 hits. Plus zero dismemberment is pretty disappointing as Jedi Academy was 5 years earlier and had it.
@@dustinakadustin can't remember on TFU1 but TFU2 definitely had dismemberment on storm troopers. If they didn't get dismembered at all then they weren't regular storm troopers. There was also those little lightbulb crab droids and these like cloaking cyborgs that would lose pieces too and he'd rip giants enemies like walkers to shreds with the force when you did the quick time finishers.
Eevryone keep in mind that this is only 5% of his true power give this man force lightning and force repulse and there would probably a few planetary outposts missing from the galactic charts in the next day or so I dont think the grand inquisitor could fake his death to get out of this situation
In the VR game Vader Immortal you can unlock Ahsokas Sabers including the one with the reverse grip and using it just feels SO weird i can never get used to it
I played through the Jedi Knight series. Jedi academy in my memory made you feel like you're a jedi master. And despite non sith or jedi enemies being on either one or two hits, I found the combat a lot more satisfying than in Fallen Order. Maybe I just don't like Souls style Jedi, but to me Jedi academy combat was always just as I remembered as a kid. 3 fighting stances for single saber, saber staffs, dual sabers and whatever mod you could download.
Had surprisingly high skill cap potential if you knew what you were doing. Modern version of Jedi academy with better graphics, new story and characters would be hit I’m sure.
I think a healthy mix of Jedi Academy and Fallen Orders combat would be sick. Or even something like Ghost of Tsushima. Jedi Academy is perfect at fights against troopers though. Just needs better mapping for force powers.
