Personally I dont totally agree that all lists here are a absolute meta, since good players can usually make their own version of a list work well. Its more that these lists represent a concept thats meta, rather then that exact list
Fair enough, still it does help imo to look at what is considered the top of the top. I myself never run them because I always try to have fun with weird and different lists
@@Wargamerofalltradesyea I totally agree with that. I played a CIS list with 5bombs (x3 BX, Cad Bane, Bossk) and 3droidikas. Went 2-1 at the local event and it was the most fun list I played ever. Really shook up the expectations 😃
I feel it’s really a shame that B2s and ARC troopers aren’t more present. I’m from France and now, the best Separatist list is from someone that plays in the same local store as me with Kalani and a mix of B2s and Black Sun. This list is truly terrifying when in the right hands, B2s are tough and with the B2-HA and T-Series they really have a punch at range 3. I find also really disturbing that full teams of ARCs are not played that much, since they only cost 66 points now. I personnally run 4 of them each with the DC-15x, a P2 Z-6 medic, a clone commander, a AT-RT and Anakin in a 501st list. It’s a very powerful list, yeah only 8 activations but all strong and hard hitting, I’m sure this type of list could perform if in better hands than mines.
seems like defense is king right now. The cover changes in January along with Guardian and dodge support are Republic and Rebel staple. Empire seems to be able to shoot enough to overcome that wall, but I'm not sure if droids can right now. Maybe an end of year update could help
Honestly I feel if they want a major shake up, they need to drop new armies. As popular/unpopular as they are, First Order and Resistance would change things up a lot
I feel like the first order/ resistance would play very similar to the Empire and Rebels, and the resistance doesn't have enough unique models that would look different from the Rebels. I do think new factions would be a good thing though, and would shake things up
@@Wargamerofalltrades while on the surface I agree with you. Clones play pretty different than Empire even tho they're similar forces. You could make them pretty unique especially with their leaders but maybe you're right. I'm not sure what other full forces would be viable given the Disney wiping of the old canon
