Love the poetic cinematography of "You underestimate my power!" being outplayed by "I've been trained in your Jedi arts!" Also lovely table and models! Naboo Legion tables are sooo good looking!

31:12 Padme could have survived the pierce!! Command card gave her Danger Sense🤣 She should have rolled three defence dice for that one hit; pierce only cancels one hit result, so as long as two or more blocks were rolled then she would survive. EDIT: Also, I'm not sure why Cad Bane's first attack went through without a chance to block, unless the defence roll was edited out? She would have again been able to roll 3 dice for that one hit😬

It's not delfect, it's Djem Sho Mastery. It doesn't stipulate that the attacker only suffers a wound if it was a ranged attack: "While defending, if you spend a dodge token, you gain [surge to defend] if at least one hit or critical result was canceled, the attacker suffers one wound" Side note, spending the dodge cancels a hit and triggers this effect so unless the attack pool consists entirely of crits and Anakin doesn't have Outmanuever, it is guaranteed.

First gameplay video I'm seeing on this channel and I have two main compliments: 1. The editing is superb! 2. I greatly appreciate all the explanations throughout the game for the scenario, keywords, etc. It makes it very beginner friendly! I watched your quick guide video on the game and didn't fully understand how the game played (since I've never played a war game before), so this beginner friendly approach is massively helpful!

This looks awesome! The terrain is great and I need to build myself a Naboo map now! The only thing I think I was confused by was the droids not being forced to shoot or do other actions first, due to the AI rule. I believe B1's have to shoot if not issued an order, and an enemy is in range. Love seeing you guys play Legion!

I think in some cases he couldn't hit any clones so he got off lucky with ai(that or he had to move cause aren't their AI ai move, ai shoot.)

love legion! just started getting in to it with my father. he’s a big star wars nerd and it’s a lot easier for him to understand than 40k is. we went with empire vs rebels. whenever he comes to visit we always play a few games. but man, i’ve never seen grevious in action.. he kept fighting and fighting 😂

Anakin's deflect says that if you cancel a hit you return a wound that works either with : - A successful defense - The cover - The dodge canceling one hit Yeah, if you hit Anakin, you lose 1 HP Xd

Great custom game, really works well and i can't wait to try it out at home! Just one note, grievous can get cover from suppression tokens since he's not a droid trooper (i guess android's don't count?)

Yes, when deflecting against melee, it only blocks, it doesn't reflect damage.

DEFLECT only works on range attacks but Anakin has the Djem-So-Mastery. Djem-So works also in melee and gives you automatically a wound back if you spent a dodge token. And since the News rules came out DEFLECT dont give you surge:block in melee if you spent a dodge token.

NERD ALERT: This mission can't be canon because in Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith Grevious and Anakin meet for the first time. Grevious says "I was expecting someone with your reputation to be a little older", to which Anakin replies, "General Grevious, you're shorter than I expected". To which Grevious replies, "Jedi Scum". Yeah I don't care either. 😆😆😆 Great battle report! I love the table. I always thought a Naboo-ish board would be amazing!
