I have watched every single Star Wars film (not including clone wars, rebels, mandalorian, or boba fett) over 9 times. I know he had a burst of instinct, but he did try to kill kylo ( or as I like to call him Ben Solo) before having that “burst of instinct”

@@trickshotsmoviesandcubing2317 Youre right, but I think they could've done way better things there, or communicated what Luke was feeling much better. We don't even get a look at what visions he sees. All we hear are screams, and we can't even tell who are the ones screaming. So they couldve actually shown us what horrifying things Luke sees, or changed the story so that Luke, instead of igniting his lightsaber, is left frozen for a moment but chooses to try to redeem Ben only to end up having the Jedi temple burned to ashes and his students slaughtered at the hands of Kyylo Ren on the moment he least expected a betrayal, which would be the killing blow to his optimistic "There's good in everyone" philosophy. Either way, the movies did a shit job convincing us Luke's instinct reaction was natural.

Palpatine was tryna hide his force sensitivity the whole time, so I doubt thats the case. Even if it is, I find it funny how it took them like, 2 whole movies to get suspicious and all they did was make his BFF spy on him, if this whole time they knew he was force sensitive. Surely at least someone on the council would've mentioned Palps' force sensitivity during discussion about who the sith mentor to Maul and Dooku is if they knew

No one said the prequels were perfect, but they are still more tolerable.

@@dansmith6300 I didn't say anything about them. Also, that's false. The prequels and sequels are equals in quality for different reasons. One had terrific world building, story structure, overarching themes, and a singular vision, but lacked from a washed up creator who didn't direct anything since Episode 4 and was known for his work being better the less involvement he had. The other had great acting, expert directing, a great theme about found family, and didn't need a full TV show to do justice to a lot of it's characters, but sorely lacked a good overall plan and pretty much only existed to fund the Disney+ shows. Both had amazing VFX, sound design, cinematography, and John Williams' perfect score, but both failed to please a number of hardcore and/or toxic fans, with casuals mostly loving them and kids who grow up with them eventually minimizing the hate with their genuine love of it. Sounds fairly equal to me...

Found family? Finn barelly stays in the plot, Rey steals a surname because she live with her identity and Poe's character. In fact i would argue that in ep9 you get them less as a cohesive group with Rey trying to split up on purpose

Plus the sequel trilogy wpuld actually benefit from extra content to justify itself, rather than Clone Wars which enhances the gap between ep2 a 3

Though to be fair, the 2D Clone Wars TV series is the reason why Grievous has a coughing fit every now and again, since Mace Windu crushes Grievous’ chest at the end of the show, which causes him to start coughing a lot. So yeah, 2D Clone Wars caused coughing Grievous.
