After learning the terrible truth of the betrayal of his former apprentice, ex-Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker--the newly anointed Sith Lord Darth Vader--Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi visits the penthouse apartment of Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo to find answers. Obi-Wan discovers the truth of Padmé's pregnancy, and the fact that Anakin is the father, but Padmé refuses to believe that her husband committed such atrocities, and she does not tell the Jedi Master where his former Padawan went; she is still unnerved at the possibility of Anakin's fall, so she travels to Mustafar in her Star Skiff to find out the truth.
Unbeknownst to her, Obi-Wan had stowed away aboard the Star Skiff, and, as the craft touched down on Mustafar, and as husband and wife embraced each other, events began to spiral towards one more climactic tragedy...
