Like we know the major 5 religions. Like you can look at world globe and say Yakuza here, Columbian Drugs cartel around here, Mafia in this country. You never got test for it on school, but you know a lot . In Star Wars the gangs move around faster and get wiped out on a planet level, because story needs to happen. Its like multiple Mafia gangs where in The Netherlands like in 60s (not sure). Now they are no longer a player of any size.
