Happens no matter from which planet I start. Always with the same broken chat between Kay and JD5.
UPDATE: Since a few days I am able to hyperjump again. I was in contact with Ubisoft support on discord. Not sure yet why it is working again.
But I believe it had to do with the chat lines.

Experienced that issue too, finished the game without hyperspace travelling and some upgrades then...

I reported my issue to the Ubisoft support team on discord. I am not sure what they did but after connecting Ubisoft and Discord account and some back and forth in the thread it was fixed for me. I still believe it's a "hanging" chat line which caused it. I recommend to contact the Ubisoft support either via Discord or via their homepage.
