@@wearesimulated1579 We can no longer play the crew along with our dlc's etc we bought cause they shut down servers , same will happen with this game cause even tho it is a single player game it needs an online connection to play which has already been confirmed , that is where I have the problem with that they can make my purchase i made and gave them money for WORTHLESS in future , so I for one will not support this rubbish company and many will not cause of what they did with the crew they could have fixed it cause it is mostly anyway also a single player game
@@Coroner_ZA True! And considering how crappy Ubisoft's servers are, imagine trying to play this game on your day off or a day where you just want to relax and have fun, but this game won't even launch because ... oh I don't know, too many people are connected at the same time and the server is crapping the pants? Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is a good example. The amount of time I ended up on the title screen with a connection error made me hate online games from Ubisoft.
@@wearesimulated1579 Yeah, they are trying to replace everything with subscriptions, where some mod with an attitude can decide is your politics are the right way, or if you end up losing what you paid for. it's always the same thing, people said exactly that when AC Valhalla was announced and it ended up being the best selling AC game ever (even though it's the worst in the franchise)
@@saber8723 i give Valhalla a 9,6 just like Odyssey ( and yes i played all Assassin's Creed games) Top 3 AC games 01 AC Odyssey 02 AC Valhalla 03 AC IV Black Flag.
Pretty sure there is ALOT more reasons the crowds are becoming angry. Way too many to even list. Most opinions get deleted and shoved to the dark corner where they fester. Don’t trust the like button or any comment. Especially if there is a product being sold.
I mean that is how it has already been for like a decade, ever since platforms like Steam replaced hard copies of games. Get banned from Steam? say goodbye to your entire game collection.
SEVENTY DOLLARS for a video game?!? I’ve never heard such slander! Well except Spider man 2..and FFVII Rebirth…and Tears of the Kingdom..and Starfield..and Tekken 8…and honestly any video game published post 2021

@@grimtrazzd6043 True! And personally I like it when they do this because it technically comes out when I have to work but if I choose to play early I'll have a couple days off to do that.
@@commando_barrage501 that's the best bounty hunter the "new rising and powerful" cartel can hire? They must be a joke then, or never heard of good bounty hunters
Well… I’ll wait a year or so until it’s marked down 80%. Ubisoft said we should get used to not owning our games. They should get used to not owning our money. PHYSICAL COPY.
3 days is not a beta test. It's just exploitation. A proper beta test allows for fixing the bugs and issues found before release, which is at least a month ahead of time
@@darkstalkerknight63 Ya know what, your right. Buy the hard copy at a higher price for a game that isn't even out yet. My computer that doesn't even have a cd drive anymore should be able to use that disc once I buy an additional cd port just to put the cd in. Totally sounds reasonable. Its not crying, its being reasonable.
@@leristamerello8225 the hard copy of the game is literally the same price of a digital copy. oh your computer do not have a cd drive anymore, who's fault is that? yours. that is correct. you didn't make sure your computer had one on it. I bet you also have a lot of rgb on your computer as well huh. you could have made sure your computer allow you to do as much as you want but you picked to not go with a CD drive and now you are blaming other people for what you did. in fact, you would have just took the CD dive off your old computer and put it on your new one but you didn't. that your on you.
@@MrCrunchytime Looking through the comments you have nailed it! It's ~6 months since Ubisoft released Skull and Bones, and prior to that they released an Assassins Creed, both were far from GOTY.
I love how most of the comments are about just the price, monetization strategies and not owning the games you buy, because I think that focus is right, the game itself looks goot imo, but this kind of monetization and anti-consumer behaviour is unacceptable and people should push back against it
There isn’t a single second of gameplay in this trailer. We don’t even know what it’ll be like… It’s hilarious that they have the gall to ask for pre-orders before they’ve even shown us anything but a cinematic trailer
I don’t play games, but after watching this I’d like to see the movie 😅 it looks good! (gives me Goonies vibe for some reason). P.s. I do notice the gaming industry has become really corrupt though. don’t blame you all for making a ruckus
"Bit of a cloaca though. Loved his speeches. Hold the line! Personally prefer to get job done and go home. Probably military bravado, jargon, chest-pounding. ...No offense."
It's from the same studio that did the Division games, they have some of the worst facial animations for AAA games, not sure if it's because of the Snowdrop engine.
To tell you the truth, given the live action Space Lesbians Hate Men (formerly known as StarWars) of late, her lifeless facial expression is par for the course.
"Each of you represent the most powerful criminal organisations in the galaxy" - Ubisoft self-referencing, after the absurd pricing on these game editions.

@@simplycaleb4781 Acting like ALL fans were aligned about what they want. They litteraly cry about wanting to "own" their game and a Steam release in the same sentence. Some are crying about having no male character, some are happy with Kay as she is, some want all the games to have character custo and others to have a fully fledged character. Some are tired of jedi in star wars media and some believe that if there are no jedi or force users then it's not worth playing. Some are tired of "repetitive open worlds designed by ubi" but also consider Spider-Man 2 or Hogwarts legacy like GOTYs when their open worlds are litteraly 10 years late and fully adapted from the so called 'ubi formula'.
@@simplycaleb4781 Not at all :)! I am saying that people want different things and that they should go for what they want and not go for things they do not want. For instance, someone CAN'T play as a female character? Well there are other games and its ok because some enjoy playing them. Yes but we could also customize the character so everybody is happy? Except that some players do not like that. They can't make everybody happy, litteraly so go for what you like and people should stop believing that what they like is what "fans like". Another example, if you go on reddit, youtube, etc, AC is a brand with really bad new games and everybody agree that fans want games like the first ones. Meanwhile, since Origins, their sales exploded compared to before. Who is true then?
Disney: no little girl your a little girl sit down to pee, everyone wants to play as a strong independent female, everyone really liked our character Rey so your sexist if you don't like this character even though your a man sit down to pee little girl.

The Crew was one of my two favourite racing games, and it was running perfectly fine. And *poof* it's gone. Why would i spent over 100€ on a Star Wars game without lightsabers or podracing? You better get used to not selling your games.
@@briangronberg6507 the official setting of the game in the timeline is “during the one year period between [ESB] and [ROTJ]” according to the devs in interviews posted by several outlets. I think it’s interesting wording for them to call such a short period of time a golden age, especially since a single year is certainly not long enough to be considered an age of time on its own. I feel like that’s not even long enough to realize that a golden age is happening in the first place, it’s more like a good hunting season than anything. Then again, the writing in this trailer doesn’t seem too strong but I’m not a critic or anything.
@@corbinpenniman3265 It all depends on what they need in order to moderately sustain their company. They can say that they need the money, but if excess is what they're wanting so that they can give more and more money to the corporations that own Ubisoft, then they will certainly not get it from these gamers. That's why people nowadays like Indie games - they're not tempted to the same extent as giant mega corporations and genuinely just want to make art for a reasonable living.
