@@TOMMYBOY601 I’ll tell you what I’m talking about. You and every other bought reviewer are singing praises to this game. Even though it’s clearly a nothing game. Have some standards man. A little self respect. Don’t bend the knee to Ubisoft.
@@kicker081or, you know, outside your little online outrage machine there’s this whole world out there where people actual enjoy things insulting someone for liking something that you assume is going to suck before even playing, it’s super weird, just move on with your life instead of obsessing about things you hate thing is, you are addicted to the outrage, which is just sad, so much out there to discover and enjoy
My biggest issue with the demo was that the protagonist constantly spewed Forspoken-level verbal diarrhea. It didn't matter if she was in the middle of a fight, or hanging from a ledge. It was always time to narrate what she was doing to her sidekick. After about 5 minutes, I was sick of it. Based on what is sown in this video, they didn't fix that issue.
@@tajescerenso7437 legitimately enjoy this game. Star Wars is one of my favorite franchises. And this game does an incredible job bringing you into that world. Do you really think ubi would pay money for a couple of hundred views?
@@TOMMYBOY601 Yes… I do. Ubisoft has been receiving a considerable amount of criticism regarding the gameplay and greedy business practices presented in the game. It’s also pretty know that Ubisoft reaches out to Star Wars fan RU-vidrs to give them contracts in exchange for promoting their game to help with the criticism… “Contracts” as in “Say our game is great 😀 and we pay you XYZ”. Bottom line I think Ubisoft is pretty desperate for a couple of hundred views. Boost the games image to influence customers to buy their unnecessarily high price rubbish.
Well I can assure you I did not have that style of contract. I did have to agree to terms of abiding to the embargo and to say they provided the game to me. Which I did. Personally I think they have some of the best value in the space. You could sign up for a month of there membership and play the game for $18. No one is forcing people to buy the “ultimate” edition of the game. Personally what I’ve been doing in this era of subscription gaming is pay a month of the service. And if I like the game. I wait a year and pick up the game for 50% off.
Does it make a difference? The goal of the video is to apprise the audience of that which they seek, namely the contents of shown game. You the viewer make the decision as to whether you like what you see enough to get the game for yourself. Whether TB601 really likes the game or not has no bearing in that decision. 😂
The AI, stealth-mechanics, the speeder, the combat, the facial animations (or lack thereof), dialogue and the flight exploration makes this a wait for sale for me.
Thank you for the level-headed non-reactionary review. Do you know if it's possible to continue doing endless randomized faction "jobs" with shifting reputations after the credits roll? Or are there only a finite amount to do?
That guy makes up his own Starwars lore wholecloth or just adds his interpretations of things as though it was cannon. Not to mention the guy is still hung up about the Legends material being treated as non-canon so he can't even view the stuff we have today as anything other than replacing the stuff he actually did like. His subjective takes aren't the SW community or the part of the gaming community that likes Ubisoft games.
@@johnbendheim8163 Not talking about lore I'm talking about game performance. I straight up falling threw the floor. From the sound of it though, you liked the acolyte didn't you?
TBH what we can see so far is not impressive. The one thing that stood out to me was actually seeing your ship land on a planet from space. But StarCitizen figured out how to make that a seamless experience years ago. The one thing that would make me excited about this game would be running around with my friends. But despite the fact that third parties that create and run online services for publishers exists. They are choosing to limit the experience to single player.
I just got some screen time with this game. Seriously Tommy!? You like this game this much? It not that good. From my estimate its graphic polish is shoddy, the combat is derivative of something from a mediocre PS3/Xbox 360 era. The exploration is fairly good however I don’t feel it’s extraordinary. So good game, somewhat. Bad game…not really. Good game at this price? No way! I wouldn’t pay more than $40 for this so-called quadruple A game. In this one Yves Guillemonte over promised and underdelivered.
@@PhillipLemmon are you mental?? Nobody is complaining about the price. I simply stated that you can play this game right now for $18 using Ubisoft plus. Learn to read kid.
Regardless of what the mob here says, I appreciate the earnestly in your review. Don't let the Reviewer-Viewer-Hivemind change an honest opinion, no matter how niche.
Everything seen bout this game an announced about it ill pass ubisoft can tank this game as well atleast you like it man everyones has their choice to make 👍🏼 much love may the force be with you tom
I didn't even know this game was coming until I started seeing reviews. Tbh this is a pass for me. As in a "maybe one day if it's a free download and I have dick all to do" but that's about it. It seems very poorly done, tbh. Watched the review and I'm not sure how anyone how anyone vould think anything you said is good. To each there own, I suppose.
