Yea but everone can definetly say they over used rey like damn fin should have been the main character instead of rey like he seems alot more interesting then rey especially if they can create a twist to were his dad was actually mace windo
+Rapunzel Fitzherbert Ray is actually amazing. I really feel he was underused in the series. Ray practices Wushu, Kickboxing and Shaolin Kung Fu. The dude is amazingly talented.
He represented great Britain in world bo staff events.. Maul was written worth a double bladed saber but it was largely ray park who designed mauls fighting style with it and we have him to thank for the furious pacing of those battles
I have that same Darth Maul force fx lightsaber and that thing is heavy and really not easy to maneuver with the longer hilt and the two blades. Ray Park is such a pro! Absolute skill!
I was there! I go every year, and no other celebrity guest does anything remotely close to this. He was the best. And he was like this nearly the whole time. Totally approachable, friendly, and appreciative. Awesome.
my obsession of star wars from my childhood has resurfaced easily hands down darth maul is my favourite right now we need a darth maul solo film JJ abrams make it happen
Ray Park you are a great guy. I have a ton of respect for your work in the movies, but I can see that you are a better person in real life. Thanks A LOT for all your fights, they have been great.
Can't wait to meet this guy in June. I wonder if we will ever know what happened to Maul at the end of the animated clone wars series. Would be something to see Darth Maul in the new trilogy.
Lol I'm guessing I'm not the only one here that can spin lightsabers like that as well. I've pretty much been doing like that shit my whole life, Star Wars taught me everything haha
Ray Park was the stuntsman but Pete Serafinowicz was the guy creatively named "Pete" in Shaun of the Dead. Favorite line: "It's four in the fuckin' morning!"
Omg omg omg. Ray Park plays Darth Maul??? The same guy who played . . . that guy in Heroes (name escapes me right now)?!?! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS?!?!?!?!?! I LOVE HIM xD
If you're referring to the figure-8 movements Park was performing, they're Shaolin staff techniques commonly displayed in wushu tournaments and performances .
Makes you realize how quickly an actual fight with a well trained martial artist would end - then imagine he fully has the intention of killing you. Scary.
basically he escaped onto a planed where his hatred for obi wan kept him alive until he was rescued by his brother and healed whiles training back up to be the assassin he had been known for
Wow, Ray Park is the coolest! Totally underused in Trilogy! I have a feeling anyone would be very scared to go against Park. Though if I remember, Ewan had tremendous talent with the saber as well.
omg... so kool. X3 Ray Park is the man when it comes to this kinda stuff, he kicks ass. >D To bad they have to be so carful with the plastic lightsabers. XD
The producers of star wars later seen how well this guy with the green lightsaber was doing in lightsaber combat, he is now filming in the next star wars as lukes son.
@Timsonicboom88 That just makes him even better. Keep in mind that toad had an inferior mutation compared to Storm, Jean, Cyclops and Wolverine, and managed to keep three of them incapacitated. If only he weren't so stupid as to wrap his tongue around that railing when Halle Berry, shocked the hell out of him.
They're called Master Replicas Force FX Lightsabers, & they're arguably the best lightsaber replicas out there today. Much better than the Hasbro kids' stuff, anyways. They come in many different types, from Anakin Skywalker to Mace Windu to Darth Vader. You can order them from the Master Replicas official company website, as well as a variety of other online stores. They are also sold in most sci-fi/comic book shops, as well as places like Best Buy.
