I think that duel of the fates theory makes anakin’s story even better because when qui gon dies he goes to the next closest father figure which is Palpatine. And right at the end in return of the jedi when anakin saved luke from the emperor it’s him being the father he never had.

Rebels knew how to start and end their seasons strong. Each season's opener and finale were stellar episodes.

When I first started watching rebels it was to fill that void left by the clone wars, at first I just thought oh this is just a more kid friendly animated star wars show. But as the show progressed and they get more involved in jedi and rebellion stuff I really started to enjoy and respect the show. It's definitely worth the watch and contribues to the universe as a whole.

My friends are surprised when I say this, butt Star Wars: Rebels is my second favorite Star Wars property with my favorite being Empire. Love the Rebels crew!

These episodes are the fight for Ezra's soul. Rebels doesn't commit to Ezra joining the dark, not just because it's a kid show, but because Kanan, his Jedi Father, his Master, fought for his soul. And won.

Ahsoka has become my favorite Star Wars character, a spot formerly held by Jedi-Grandmaster Luke (which is not canon anymore) and Obi-Wan. She's what Jedi should be. I really hope Mandalorian does her Justice.

I was actually really happy they didn't go down the 'Maul becomes Ezra's master' path. I'm kinda sick of that. Not every Jedi is permanently on the verge of the dark side.

Twilight of the Apprentice: - Remove helicopter lightsabers (because its stupid af) - Remove 3rd inquisitor - thats lame when you introduce the character and kill them off few minutes later - nothing yould change if he wasn't there. - Explain Maul - holy shit he just falls mid episode and vanishes. And then appears in inquisitor star fighter in last 30s to tease people. Can someone expain how we got there that he fell off and never appeared again. - And can someone explain why exactly was this building collapsing at the end? I guess the holocron that was INSIDE that temple/weapon was NEVER used few levels higher and never removed right? Because it would collapse long time ago then. How convinient no? And there you go, you have an episode that makes logic sense. :D Or if you want to go kids show direction just don't try to fool people with nostalgia and actually some good scenes to watch this. Why would you have Vader vs Ahsoka if you make jokes around entire episode and introduce one of the most dumb things just for ?laughs?.

I really enjoyed this series. Sure it had a good chunk of filler episodes. But so did Clone Wars plus I found the character to be good enough to make those filler episodes enjoyable. And it's best moments to me rival a lot of things in Clone Wars. Like this episode. Thrawn being added to the official cannon. I love the episode Zero Hour where he attacks the Rebels on Bendu planet. Twin Suns is one you guys should go back to if you do another COB on Rebels. And the episode Jedi Knight is the most emotional I got watching a Star Wars series or film. But you would have had to have had seen the entire series for that episode to matter to you.

Light side Lord Farquad (with Ben’s timely Shrek edit) made me spit out my breakfast...the same effect Maso was going for trying to get James to spit out his Kombuch!

10:17 wow im like2 years late and even more late for rebels but wow i finally understood what felt wrong about lightsabers in that series

There's a good ep of rebels in season 2 I think...the main imperial antagonist from season 1 gets trapped in a cave with Zeb (big purple feet hands guy). Good bit of character development

The lightsaber was a design choice, they felt the thinner blade captivates the power of the saber from the 1st movie, so dumb lol

When Vader is coming down on the tie fighter it’s auto pilot 😂😂😂duh😂😂

Counter point: Dave Filoni and John Favreau are Star Wars fans who have made Star Wars genuinely better, and nobody wanted what they put in Rise of Shitwalker. George and Dave seemed to have a better read on what Star Wars should be and connect better with fans' actual interests than Rian Johnson, Jj Abrams, or Kathleen Kennedy ever have. Bad writing made Star Wars worse. But yeah, the episodes with Maul, Ahsoka, and Kanan as the focuses were some of the only really good ones in this show for me. Ezra always seemed like a whiny baby who was brought along but didn't belong. It's odd because Ahsoka was a teenager too in the Clone Wars, but after her character development, she always seemed older, mature, capable, and interesting enough to justify being there. Rebels was held back by being more for little kids.

Filoni, who was the exec producer, said that Anakin never came to the surface during that scene when Vader called out to Ashoka it was just a trick to keep her there.
