As a kids show, it’s pretty good. But I wouldn’t say that’s an automatic excuse. Clone wars is a kids show but manages to be mature, funny, heartfelt, and is visually beautiful. It’s a kids show, but it manages to be SO MUCH MORE than that. If you say “it’s just for kids” that’s not an excuse. This show has some amazing ideas like Tam turning to the Order, but they don’t do anything with it. She’s barely in S2. She’s in like 5 episodes. Commander Pyre and Tierny are laughable villains. They can’t manage to catch a fueling station with 5 ships protecting them. Neeku is one of the most annoying characters in Star Wars. I get they were trying to make him quirky, but he comes across as embarrassing and awfully written. Torah Doza is literally D.va. Same accent, same tattoos, same concept. She’s an anime caricature that protects a station as an ex pilot. Yeager is the only character I can call okay. he’s the only serious one, but has no arch.

True, but clone wars isn't really a super young kids show like resistance. But that's still not an excuse. For me the best characters are Pyre and Tierney. I they didn't need the ships as protection, and its not about them being protected. They are never really on the defensive. So trying to catch something doesn't really have anything to do with protection. However they were severely underutilized and underpowered, because its a kid show. They could have been a threat if it was actually not made for super young kids.
@@djsuperqueen1248 Well, it depends on the kid's age. Star Wars the Clone Wars is a kids show, but would you show the episode where Maul kills Satine to a 7 year old. Probably not. This is more of a toddler kind of kid show made for kids at a much lower age than those that would watch Avatar. Which varies a little more. But there are certain kid shows made for younger kid audiences. There is a huge difference between 7 and 12 year olds. Both are ages of kids, but they differ a lot in what they are exposed to. Would aa 6 year old watch Avatar, no but he/she is still a kid.
I finished the show about a month ago. Honestly I found the majority of the episodes to be pretty boring. Not bad, just bland. I did like the concept of the First Order Raider though.
I like Star Wars Clone wars better it was dark it serious it sad at times it had great amazing characters beautiful looking backgrounds simple story it was remarkbly good
You were not partially correct if you said it would only last 1 season. After season 2 you could have said it would only last 3S and after that 4S and so on. But I appreciate your honesty. You were %100 correct in that part. So I'll let it slide. 😉 Lol

I will defend this show with my life I really like the connections with the sequels / clone wars / rebels and even canon comics this show has, you can tell that the creators are very passionate about the story they’re are telling and they ended on a very high note Most people who hate on this show haven’t even seen it
If clone wars was fine wine, rebels was grape juice, and this is water. They just keep watering down SW so it's more kid friendly just because it's Disney
Ive been watching this and trying to be open minded but it really doesn’t feel star wars especially the music! The music feels like a Disney cartoon or something. It is much more childish than all the other Star Wars which fine if its for kids. That doesn’t bother me as much as the feel of the show just not seeming to feel Star Wars. Even when they bring the bigger characters in to try to tie it into the bigger Star Wars Universe it always feels forced and weird even trying to take the main character seriously as a spy I find hard to do. I wanted to like this and give it a fair chance but It’s jut not doing it.
I feel like starwars resistance was lucasfilms wanting to show more of the pilots side of starwars and then it failed and they said fuck it lets make a vr game When we see people calling each other brother in the clone wars. Theyre clones. Thats just how they talk And also i wouldnt reccomend this show for anyone. Kids can watch the clone wars and rebels. This show sucks tbh
