So the STAR WARS, The Acolyte, Retro Collection box set is now available to pre-order from Hasbro Pulse.
I think £60.99 is a really good price for these six action figures. My only concern is, I’m not sure fans are going to be invested enough in the characters to want to own this set?🤔
And what happened to the Andor Retro Collection?
I really enjoyed the opening two episodes of The Acolyte last week, but last nights episode was so boring.

I can't imagine any fans who have nostalgia for the original Kenner figures having any appreciation for The Acolyte.

I like them. I think they are decent looking figures. It was always the figures for me back in the 80’s, more so than the movies. Episode 3 of The Acolyte was boring and those twins are very irritating at times, but it’s STAR WARS, and I love it. I think I’m going to order these even though a certain RU-vidr thinks I’m a sucker for doing so. 👍😉

I’d forgotten that they hadn’t done a Rogue One release. I’d love theme to release a set for Rogue One but knowing Hasbro, they would just repackage Darth Vader, Princess Leia, a Death Trooper, and Grand Moff Tarkin from the board game, with a new Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor. 👍😉

I think you might be right although I still think it is too early for everyone to be hating on it. Episode 3 was boring but I think it was because it was a flashback episode involving those irritating twins. It is a decent set of retro figures.👍😉

Just a little bit of negativity. Some of it justified but the majority of it is just moaning for the sake of it. I heard one RU-vidr complaining about the episodes being too dark.👍😉

I honestly enjoyed the first two episodes but the third one was boring. It’s Doctor Who all over again.😂😂 I still love the Retro Collection figures. I think it is a good set. I just don’t understand why they included one of the mothers.🤔👍

Started watching the show yesterday expecting the worse. It's not that bad, quite enjoying it really. I'm the same, enjoy collecting the 5poa figures.

Definitely last week’s episode was boring, and the young twins are a bit irritating, but I’m enjoying it. The fan base is very toxic at the moment with a lot of people having a go because I’m interested in pre-ordering this set because I really like the figures. I don’t think people understand that growing up, Star Wars was more about the figures and toys for me than the movies, only because I’d only seen them a couple of times on television, not like the access people have today. The retro yellow lightsabers are proper 80’s nostalgia.😂👍

The wokadyke collection. I own every single retro collection figure plus doubles, but my collecting came to a screeching halt because I refuse to get on the Acolyte bandwagon. I’ve had enough of Disney. If they get back to original trilogy or prequels, I will buy more, but I’m done with the Disney crap.

I haven’t watched the latest episode of the Acolyte. I will get round to it but it doesn’t have the same excitement as The Mandalorian. Also, going on last weeks episode, a few of the Retro Figures from this box set are dead.😂 I’m not a fan of Disney but I love the Retro Collection and I really think this is a decent box of figures. It was always more about the toys and action figures for me, more than the movies. Likely because I only watched A New Hope a couple of times on television at Christmas and then ROTJ in the Cinema. I made my own adventures. I honestly know where you’re coming from but I will likely be pre-ordering this set. I think it was the yellow lightsaber that sold it.👍😉I know I am in a minority and I do hope Hasbro release more figures from the original trilogy.

As a Jedi centric show I was looking to be bored, but as like you, the first two episodes were half decent, and the third was a turd! Andor, Ashoka, Acolyte I'm sensing a pattern 🤔 😆 Cardboard playset unboxing sounds great In Demand Toys, Cosmic Jo's and the Movie and TV Shop... Vintage are the fully articulated action figures with beautiful face sculpts. Retro are just the standard figures, made just like when they were first released in the 70’s. Retro is my favourite but I think it is because I am a sucker for nostalgia.👍😉

….I get the uneasy feeling a good many buying this overpriced set genuinely believe it’s a shrewd investment that’ll only increase in value over the coming years. Each to their own but I wouldn’t be too confident on that score… 😉

I can’t see this set increasing in value but I personally don’t think it is overpriced. Just over £10 per figure isn’t too bad and I would buy these to open. I know it’s not a popular view but I really like the Retro Collection and I think this is a decent set, apart from the Mother.😂👍

Hello my friend… I like these figures as well and will be picking them up . But with that said I wish the figure selection that Hasbro made would have been different. Like maybe a droid or the Darth Maul looking lady .. Maybe it’s just me lol . I’m also with you on an Andor set ….. Where is it ?

Yeah, I would have preferred Darth Maul’s mum instead of what we got. A droid would have been good but thinking about it, I can’t remember seeing a droid in the first three episodes.🤔 I really like the Jedis. Not really fussed about the twin but I guess they are the stars of the show.👍😉

I’m not sure the Jedi Wookie suited Jedi robes. He must be so hot. Would definitely be a good retro figure. A video on my Andor Retro selection.🤔 It would definitely include Jez Quigley from Coronation Street and Moxey from Auf Wiedersehen Pet.😂😂👍
