I always hated how in star wars, the bag guys always lost purely because they are the bad guys. They say how well trained they are. They show insane equipment and armour, then some dipshit with no training and a meh blaster one ups the entire army. Simply because "The bad guys can't win because bad guys." Take the Praetorian guards, elite guards who were apparently horrifying and scary against Rey, someone with essentially no lightsaber training. And lacks good training in the force. Rey somehow beats them without a sweat.
So many dead child soldiers misused by a wannabe empire that was just successfull because someone in another plaine of existence thought they should be OP. God the writing is so awful... I am the only one who thinks that the first order designs would have fitted very well into legends post-Galactic Civil War?
IKR. All their ever good for is joining the empire, failing, and dying. Can’t we just get a spin-off show about storm troopers? I get it, their supposed to be the “bad guys” and all but, not every person apart of the empire are evil.

Disney lets it run thank god. You know they added the cross guard lightsaber to TOR after Rebels established that it was an ancient lightsaber design. It also features in the High Republic apparently. Thank god for the Marvel comic writers and the Lucasfilm Story Group, they keep adding new bits of lore and mix in some Legends stuff. We have Republic war crimes, we have stormtroopers with grenade launchers instead of the legends ones who just carried around a bag filled with thermal detonators. We have the new and improved Zombie Virus, which is now able to gain knowledge from it's hosts, meaning that all the hosts have that skill.

Do we even know how many died on the starkiller base/planet...? Or on that matter any other planet/massed fleet of ships and super duper boomerang ship annihalated/destroyed or palpatined in the sequels?
Part of the reason I love the sequels way more than the prequels is cuz the deaths actually have meaning and don’t have ugly CGI or politics in the way cough cough first 5 mins of episode 1
Resistance is good though for a Disney kids show that isn't a gem like Gravity Falls, you don't get any that are in between really, also, it is way better than the sequels. If it was a bigger budget show that was more adult, it would have been better, but Disney has other things to do, like spend money on Mando and the MCU and bribing China to use their concentration camps to make a crappy film
I fucking hate the resistance show and yes they did introduce 2 good characters commander pyro and that red pilot but it’s shit bc they didn’t let any of the good guys die just the first order pretty shit
Well yeah, it was forced to air on Disney XD, which means that they are gonna make it as shit as possible. I liked it because it was the best show on the channel apart from Lab Rats and Gravity Falls, and also it was *way* better than the sequels, Sidon Ithano's and the battle droids' appearance trumps Episode 8, Commander Pyre and that Baron guy were better than the Final Order, and Phasma was actually cool for like 2 minutes
