Same here. Plus, there’s the EU books (LOTS of them) that are GREAT reads and have better stories than what Disney and current Lucasfilms have come up with. Would recommend reading about Ajunta Pall and the “Hundred Year Darkness War” that happened 7000 years before the Luke Skywalker’s time.

X-Wing Alliance, KOTOR, SWG, Battlefront II (2005), Revenge of the Sith, Empire At War (& FOC) all were and still are favourites of mine. There's a vast amount of stuff out there in various media. We literally don't need Disney's crap.

@@ArnieS1947 You’ll love the game. This month marked 20 years since playing it the first time on PS2 and I still enjoy it to this day on PS3, 4 and 5. It adds additional lore to the prequel films between 1 and 2 and explains plenty for Episode 2. And you learn about Jango Fett himself, who, despite being an antagonist; he was a good man with morals. His resentment towards the Jedi is also explained in the comic *STAR WARS: Open Seasons* by Dark Horse. He and the Jedi were all pawns in Sidious’ plans to rule the galaxy.

In the hands of a skilled writer, the basic idea could work very well for a stand-alone movie and during the movie a skilled writer could have you guessing who is a jedi and who is a sith until it's time to reveal which is which and build up to the final battles where you have the twins masters fight and the twins battle in separate duels that reveal the truth of their birth and separation and the movie could end with both masters dying and the twins facing off and one dying after a intense duel, despite their upbringings they are at a similar level of strength and skill, thus it comes down to the force to choose the one to die!! A reason for separation could be that the sith lord sought to strike back at the jedi master, say the story takes place during the era where there was many sith Lords and Jedi knights and this is just one minor battle in a much larger war and the sole surviving apprentice is left shaken by the battle and its aftermath !!

We already somewhat had that with Jaina and Jacen Solo.

I guess they were glad to get the family unit out of the equation.

Curious. What "fans"? I have been a mega Star Wars fan my entire life, and I'm not watching this. Boba Fett and Mando season 3 burned me out on mediocrity. I even loved the sequel trilogy, but Disney has finally lost my interest now. All the Star Wars fans around me and that I have talked to, have not seen the Acolyte, or has stopped watching it after a handful of episodes. I know some people like the Acolyte, and that's absolutely fine! I respect your opinion. But there are many of us with legitimate criticism against the show, that just aren't interested. We don't think the show is good, and that has nothing to do with review bombing. The fact that the creators aren't taking any of the criticism seriously is slightly worrisome, however. I honestly don't think this show is doing fine. I think you're wrong. I think Disney is bleeding money, and very soon it's gonna catch up to them, and heads are going to roll. One day someone over there is going to wake up and realize they have to start putting more thought and effort and *story* into their stories, to start making money again.
