Before “select a fleet to a command” there was the cool visual of a bridge of working clones ready to leave from their idle state to fight off in the outer rims at Rhen Var or Raxus Prime. This game is underrated as hell and it was my second PS2 game I owned thanks to dad.
The only time my dad ever picked up a controller and played a game was with this game, and I'll *never* forget it. When I was a kid (6 years old) , when my brother wouldn't play it against me I'd start up multiplayer and just find the immobile Player 2 and kill them over and over. On one occasion, I got lost and couldn't find them and got really sad. In comes my dad and says "Look, no need to get sad. If you can't find the guy, make the guy come to you." He picks up the Player 2 controller and drove over to where I was. He didn't even know the controls, and yet he seamlessly and perfectly knew where I was and drove there. Then he puts the controller down, looks at me and winks. I proceed to destroy the vehicle he 'delivered' to me and I felt such joy, and that joy magnified when I looked up at him and saw him smile wide. And that's how my dad played video games for the first and only time. That moment's so vividly burned into my mind, I'll never forget it.
I remember playing this with my dad, on Conquest mode, and the swarms of laser fire over the Genosian desert and him saying "It looks just like the movie" I miss those days
I love how they took the imperial march and changed it then used it in attack of the clones to go along with the clones marching in courasant whilest being overseen by chancellor palpatine. If you have seen that image with child anakin skywallker with darth vader as his shadow it reminds me of that. The clone army soon to become imperial stormtroopers, chancellor palpatine soon to become darth sidious and courasant soon to become the imperial capital. Its like its shadow
This game defines my childhood like no other, if this game didn't exist I don't think I would be the person I am today, that's insane lol and all of the rainy days stuck indoors with my friend Kyle, we would play the SHIT out of this game. BEST GAME OF MY CHILDHOOD!
the Clone Troopers were not bad people at all... it was the Sith Lords and Kaminoian doctors and scientists that did this to the clones.... without the chip, they were loyal, good people who fought for the good of the Republic alongside their Jedi friends and allies...
Without the chips they're already slaves to the Republic, the only reason they even believe in cause of the Republic is because they are programmed to be, they are actual artificial living being created to die
What is cool that Darth Vaders theme is played in this and it also played in the end of the Clone Wars on Episode 3. This was also sprinkled in Star Wars the Clone wars sometimes.
"As the Rebels fled, the 501st gathered around a burning bunker and let out a cheer that shook the stars. The Rebellion was done, the Death Star was being rebuilt, bigger than ever. Order had finally returned to the Galaxy, in no small part due to the efforts of the fighting men of the 501st."
Definitely one of my more favorite games. Thinking back, they should've made at least one mission for this game in which the player took on the role of a Clone Commander instead of a Jedi.
Tell me I'm the only one here who only grew up with this game, because it came with the XBOX Original when you first got it on Christmas? And it was a double-pack (Tetris Worlds being the second)?
thanks, i hated it, when this game ost couldn't be found from anywhere from the, and 1. actually i cut these OST off from original movie soundtrack. 2. Yes i have the game on PS2, but my TV speakers are bad so recording from them is bad and i don't have recording machines, so i can get good quality (also if there is something i can record from tv to my computer i rather use that) 3. when i get new tv and something better to record with than my laptop or cellphone mic, i hell yes add em here :)
Anyone remember the music menu in the options>extras? it had 32 tracks I think. I've been looking for that everywhere an can't find it. :( I had this game on Xbox and now I can't find the actual game. Not gonna stop looking though! Also can't find my Battlefront 2...
Memories. Got this for Christmas of 2003 and always replay during the month. Question, has anyone beaten all the levels on Jedi Master? I managed to beat most of them except the second mission on Thule where you have to escort the ATTe's to destroy the two factories that constantly spawn mortar and AT tanks ? I can barely keep one alive on Jedi Knight, no chance on Jedi Master.
My options are: 1. record with external mic from TV (easy, fast, quality suffers) 2. record with audio cable (not too easy, time consuming, but quality SHOULD be alright) 3. Ps2 emulator and 100% savegame and record the OST with Audacity or so. (I dont own soundcard other than what i have on my Motherboard, quality SHOULD be ok, fast but little time consuming due i'm not familiar with emulators, not too easy due the same reason) 4. Get soundtrack files from somewhere from the game (find the game to PC and try to rip the soundtrack that way, fast, easy, good quality) 5. Find the OST as actual CD or format that i could rip and upload here. I look forward to upload OST, but its not my priority number One right now, i got work to do with it aswell as i'm busy in real life outside the youtube too. I can promise you that if this track reaches 100.000 views, then i can upload the OST as good quality one way or another and see the effort for it, I didn't actually know this OST would be this wanted to be uploaded here. Thank You for your time reading this comment. Enjoy! :)
***** i look what i can do, i got possibility to record ps2 straight to my pc tho but it takes soem cable management unless people want to hear 144p phone quality xD but like i said i look what i can do :)
Right now I'm downloading an iso of it and I'm going to open up the file with Winrar and see if there's like music files of the soundtracks, probably not, but worth tryin :P You know, what I would do is record the system with a capture card with the game playing, load it up, record the gameplay on the console, disable all audio in the game like the sfx except for the music volume, go through all the levels and music, stop recording, put it on your pc, convert the gameplay into mp3 and cut the parts of the mp3 separately for all the songs to be separate mp3 files and then make videos out of them
Good news everyone! There will be full version of this OST uploaded, once i get the songs figured out and uploaded, the link to the channel will be posted to description along the OST will be on RU-vid, in late 2017, thank you for your patience! :) May The Force Be With You.
Blame the EU's and RU-vid's copyright stuff, those are the reasons why i can't post rest of the soundtrack here. :( If there's a way to bypass it, then i could.
@@blueraccoon1088 one way or another. I will play that game again, don't know when but I will hopefully I don't have to drive to another state just to get it.
@@adrianb714 fair point but maybe Google map them find game stores and ignore the gamestops once you find some stores with different names you'll probably find some that could sell playstation 2. I'm happy I got mine as a graduation gift from my retired teacher she used it most as a dvd hardly the games I kept 2
i'm not sure i'm planning to do it at some point, i just need way to record directly from ps2 to computer without external mic :) to make sure quality is fine aswell, so far ive found out the exact parts from OST of star wars and edited em just like theyre from game :) but the actual music player songs from game, i need just way to record it i have few plans but i'm not sure will it work :/ also not so active on this channel anymore :S but i look forward uploading if people actually keep asking the soundtrack from game
MASTERHUNTER666 Upload the soundtrack. Please. I've been searching for years and no one has done it yet. Save me. Save all of us. You're our only hope.
also if you play trough the game you can unlock music player in bonus section and listen the same songs :T and of course its soundtrack from the movie, cpt. obvious.
