A very cool vehicle..and I I never knew it did that deployment thing..I never got this just a Galoob Michromachines version..the Turbo Tank though..is a MONSTER Vehicle...love it..cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻
Yeah I love this thing, the deployment feature is really cool, just like the bay doors on the Republic Gunship and the entry ramp on the big Millennium Falcon. I'll try and finish off my Turbo Tank video and get it up soon!
I have that vehicle since I 1st bought it retail. Still MIB to this day, yet I;m astounded how high value it is along w/many other SW Vehicles in a short amount of time!
Wish I'd bought this at retail, would have saved a lot of money...... I thinks the vehicles from that era are bringing in the big bucks because a lot if not most of the current vehicles have been crap and overpriced and probably also because people that grew up with the Clone Wars are now working and have disposable income that they're willing to spend on this stuff.
Does anyone know where the battery door on this thing is? Need to replace batteries, and I'm totally blind, and not wanting to unscrew something I shouldn't. Thinking it's directly beneath the back turrets and boarding ramp, but wanted to be sure.
What a beast of a vehicle! So many great features and I had no idea that the back opened up like that, that was amazing. The state of Hasbro Star Wars toys is pretty sad now. I mean, The Vintage Collection of today has some pretty good stuff, but we are only getting one or two vehicles a year. I think they are doing great with The Black Series figures, but that line is going to be very limited on vehicles. Both TVC an TBS are more collector oriented anyway. Virtually no vehicles and just a hand full of figures for the release TROS, no wonder kids aren't playing with Star Wars toys today. Great video Nick!
Thanks Dave, the AT-TE is a really cool vehicle/playset. The only reason I was prepared to pay what I did for this and the Turbo Tank is because I'd rather spend my money on quality older 3 3/4 inch vehicles than the overpriced crap that we generally get these days. Keep your eye out for a new Mandalorian based TVC vehicle late February/early March wink wink.
We got a couple of these on clearance from Target along with the Turbo Tank back in the day (they were shelf warming). I shudder to think what they'd charge now if it came on a VC card back? Agree with the size thing.,this.,the Turbo Tank and the Falcon are all monstrous brutes! Cheers Nick
I'm extremely jealous, unfortunately I wasn't collecting back then but I had a feeling that might have happened. The big 3 3/4 inch scaled vehicles are all awesome, so happy to add these to the collection. BTW, that information I emailed you about the upcoming Black Series waves was incorrect, at this stage the next wave won't be coming out until February, if it get any more concrete info I'll let you know.
@@lindaboreham3633 Sounds like that could produce a great effect, but I spent way too much money on this thing and I'm too scared I would completely f#*k it up.
I remember when I was 6 years old and my mom and Dad bought me this at Fred Myers or Walmart because it was the only thing I dreamed of having as a kid, wish I still had it, just an outstanding set. Down the road I must buy this again.
Woh that thing is huge. Btw I don’t think I’ve mentioned before how nice your mic records sound and reducing noice😆. I miss this quality of figures and vehicles, nothing feels special about the current figure now day.
It's an absolutely awesome 3 3/4 inch vehicle. The mic I use is a Rode NT1-A, I originally bought it to make music recordings, audio and acoustic guitar, but it goes ok for RU-vid videos as well.
That's the Geonosis arena playset, even though it doesn't really look like the Geonosis arena from EP II...... I got it at a good price and had to have it.
Got mine off EBay mines got a leg problem and the back top hatch sticks when I press open button side doors open ok but I have to gently tap top hatch door to make it open properly
No, luckily the legs on mine are fine. I'm aware of the leg issue on the original release, I believe Hasbro sent out replacement legs to those who requested them, and then they also included the revised legs in later production of the AT-TE.
@@BabblingBooby Mine was okay at first (bought when it came out), but it got worse over time. I never got any replacement legs sadly, they were not offered here and when i inquired about it with Hasbro US they said they were all out of them. It is a real shame they didn't stress test the legs before release.
I guess it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I'm not gonna specify what I paid but it was brand new in box, and I really wanted it, so it wasn't cheap.
