Which fits Galen perfectly. In my opinion, he was neither Jedi or Sith. He was not trained as a sith, he was trained as an assassin, who happened to be strong in the Force. I don't think he followed the principles of the Sith. He was never looking to gain power or strength. He wanted to be free of Vader. I don't believe he was a Jedi either, he also didn't follow Jedi teachings, nor was he trained as one. His only goal was to be free of Vader.
The song of the man who redeemed himself in the force and started the rebellion against the empire. Starkiller will always be canon to me. No matter what the mouse says.
The Rabbid They haven't built the story of Rebels in a way that Starkiller could exist. Think about this: Why doesn't Rahm Kota show himself to the Rebels if he exists in the Rebels universe? And If a Jedi assassin (Starkiller) killed Shaak Ti wouldn't Kanan feel that? Nothing in their respective stories add up. Oh, and as far as I know, Kashyyyk has not been completely destroyed by Vader in Rebels.
Albin Jonasson But why don't we hear about that then? If the Rebels are so scared of losing the war don't you think a huge event like the Empire losing control of an entire PLANET would give them some raised morale? It doesn't make sense how everything Starkiller does never reaches the ears of ANY characters in Rebels.
Braeden Z Though the PS2 version was longer, it didn't follow the story to what it really is considering the novel, though it was still just as enjoyable because really it did stuff on the PS2 that it didn't usually did.
The creators have gone on record to call Vader the most central character, Luke the most heroic, and Starkiller the most badass. I think we all know which category takes the cake in this scenario.
@@daksoto6832 Oh God I haven't seen that movie but I for some reason got a recommendation for a cilp of the movie with him in it! I was like????????????
let me get this straight, i think the true protagonists of Star Wars are: 1. Revan, laid the foundation of Luke's New Jedi Order 2. Galen Marek, laid the foundation (a.k.a the Rebel Alliance) of the New Republic 3. Anakin, the one who brought a new age to the galaxy by killing Darth Sidious 4. Obi-Wan, the one who trained the saviors of the galaxy (Anakin and Luke) 5. Luke, the one who brought Darth Vader back to the light, and the one to build the New Jedi Order from the foundation of Revan this is just my opinion though, i could be wrong.
no, this is right to a T I would however include Naga Sadow for beginning the eternal war between both sides of the force, Odan Urr for establishing the Jedi fundamentals and leading the order for one thousand years, Meetra Surik for helping the Jedi endure its first purge at the hand of the triumvirate, Nox for managing to unite the galaxy against the Eternal Emperor, Bane for laying out the foundation for Sidious' rise to power, and Cade Skywalker for vanquishing The One Sith.
My dad just got Sam Witwer to do a Cameo for me for my birthday! He gave me words of encouragement for the rough year I had, and showed me the original concept poster for Revenge Of The Sith! I love him, and my dad so much!
@102772810864927527946 First he was a sith then he was pretending to be a jedi then he was a jedi and then he died and his clone was a sith but then a jedi. He is really unsure what to do with his life.
TheCosmaticGamer Someone had a really interesting theory that the Galen that "woke up" on the medical table after getting launched out of a Stardestroyer was a clone and the Starkiller Clone in TFU 2 was actually the original. He even provided examples of hints from the text.
Force Unleashed, Halo 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Gears Of War 2, Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3 were just some of the amazing games from my early teenage years. Oh the memories.
I will always consider Galen Marek, Dash Rendar, and Kyle Katarn canon. I loved their stories and each of their characters are unique. TFU 2 was stupid though and I pretend that it never existed.
TheBrokenMadMan TFU2 was more of a tech demo than the first one. It seemed like Starkiller just rushed through everything, so small. :( (the then next-gen versions) And I wanted to see what would have happened in TFU3.
It a good game, It just a short story, Lucas could have add more scene and level like the way lucas did on force unleashed 1 on psp with Darth delious and Darth Phobos. Even with Greedo looking guy level on Kazam mission
Hands down the best Star Wars game ever made. There hasn't been a Star Wars game like this since. This to me, is what Star Wars is. It was an amazing reimagining, but stayed so true to the source material, that it was able to fit perfectly into the universe. No other Star Wars game achieved this.
Just imagine: Jedi Survivor lets us know that Vader has gotten a secret apprentice, that ultimately reveals himself as Galen Marek in the 3rd instalment of the Cal Kestis Saga and this theme hits.
Starkiller (Galen Marek) is literally the only reason why I ever had an interest in Star Wars. This probably pisses so many Star Wars fans off but, he personally had two very great games. The second one obviously wasn't as good as the first one but, this was only due to being limited to a certain date and time to be released. He was so overpowered but, in the best way possible. He's been stated to be one of the strongest wielders of the force. The developers used the force in such a good way. Starkiller was extremely skilled with dual light-sabers. I hate Star Wars when Galen isn't included. I sound extremely bias but, he was such a great character. I hope the games are at least remastered.
@@isaacclark284Force unleashed for the wii did get ported to switch a few years ago. I hope they bring the second one over to the switch though so people can play both of them on more modern consoles since the consoles the original ones are on aren't being made anymore
No, you’re far from the only one. I think a lot of people don’t like the second game for a few reasons (most of which are valid points). • Game is too short • Only one DLC level • Ends the Dark Side ending from the first game on a cliffhanger • Very easy in comparison to the first • Many of the few levels are on the same planet or repeated environments • Progression system was severely underdeveloped All of these are fairly valid points, points which I do recognise, despite absolutely loving TFU 2. I think one other issue people have with the game is that it doesn’t really end the story. [SPOILERS] For example in the Light Side ending, you capture Vader and talk to him in your ship briefly, but nothing more is found out. (Other than being followed by Boba Fett) In the Dark Side ending, you and Kota are killed by a successful clone of Starkiller. The clone then steals your ship, presumably disguising himself as you to infiltrate The Alliance. Finally, in the DLC, Starkiller (from TFU 1) is seen resting on some sort of platform, and a Star Destroyers hover above him, ready to kill him. Then the screen fades to black and we don’t find out what happens to him. It is also presumed that Vader dies in this DLC, though it is never made explicit. Anyway, that’s my thoughts.
No. I actually almost prefer it. Amazing for the time and still stunning to this day. Graphics are one thing (the standards are so high now) but gameplay and engines like the euphoria ragdoll have been lost IMO. Those made games actually fun to play - not just boring sit & watch experiences.
christian alejandro No, but...no. In the first game the story is simple and in the Second game it's bad. Not even the Best story as a star wars game, remember knights of the old republic.
Besides the star destroyer scene (and even then the one writer said, he could have just been forcing the controls if you want it to help with the powerscaling) everything in the game fits so well for a bridge between episode 3 and 4. Vader, Starkiller and Palpatine just showed how fucking strong and cool they were in this game.
This is a very poor misunderstanding of the force. The force itself is light. Darkness is perversion of the force. To bring "balance" means to eradicate the dark. You can't be partially clean, you're just dirty.
Just imagine hearing this while you ate watching episode 7 for the first time in the movie theater. The room shakes with the sound of that trombone. And you see none other than the apprentice in his iconic cloak walking towards the new villain...
Sam Witwer was credited for the additional voices in episode 2 of Ahsoka, it seems like there’s a chance he could be playing Galen Marek which might be Marrok! 🔥👌🤞🤞
Hearing this takes me back to my nine year old self. That summer I was becoming obsessed with Star Wars and I remember the day I bought this game and I absolutely loved it. I got home and went straight into my room, popped this game into my Wii and loved it. I ended up beating the game's story mode 10 times before I decided to trade it in. I miss the good old days when I didn't have a care in the world.
this used to be canon, which was awesome for a while. then Disney came along and made that Shit show rebels. in my mind, this will always be canon and I'll never listen to what Disney has to say about it.
what ever. he was the biggest Mary sue ever in star wars and nobody complained, they thought he was one of the greatest characters out there. then Disney creates a equally powerfully Mary sue and everybody loses there shit.
This here is what I'm talking. This music takes the original classic SW score and adds in it's own creative spin so that it both distinguishes itself to be considered it's own thing all the while retaining enough of the OG that you can still tell where it came from. Truly paying homage to its source material and being able to stand out on it's own. Plus it perfectly fits and represents the story at hand, inspiring a sense of raw untapped power, ferocity, and epicness. Yet also distills a subtle underlining repressed goodness. If that doesn't personify Starkiller than I don't know what deos. Say what you will about the prequels and even spin offs like clone wars but at least they all had memorable scores that could be immediately recognized. The sequels can't really say the same
So fucking frustrating that Starkiller almost made it back into canon as an Inquisitor for Rebels but got axed. Here’s to hoping he could be the Inquisitor villain for Fallen Order 2
I remember the day my dad bought me this game, i was 6 years old, months ago he came home with the new PS3, when i ran the game, this music covered all the house, the first mission was the imperial invasion of Kashyyyk with Lord Vader as character. This song is the hearth of every child who likes Star Wars. GOTY, no doubts
The first game was very well put together. The plot was believable, and before the Rebels series became a thing, I thought the Force Unleashed was canon... well, at least the light side ending part. The second game.... I watched the playthrough.... and when you play the dark side ending, it's even more confusing. Because if you did the dark side ending in the first game, you killed Vader. And Starkiller (the original) was still alive. In the dark side ending for the second game, it continues that story as if nothing changed. I don't get it. The second game was also shorter (or it felt like it), and it was too linear.
+Numbskill Thing was, The Force Unleashed in at least it's marketing campaign was very "Shadows Of The Empire"-esqe and was billed by Lucas no less as the canonical continuation of the story between Episodes 3 and 4 cause we got to play during the titular "Dark Times" era and I loved the first game as well and even the Dark Side ending where we at least a fucking cool armor in the Dark Lord's Armor on Hoth. Force Unleashed 2 felt an afterthought cause the game ends just when the plot is starting to get interesting and the gameplay wasn't too great ether. Now the Endor DLC is a bit confusing cause it billed itself as "What if he had returned to the dark side?" But that DLC DOES NOT FOLLOW the dark side ending from the first game but the second where the Dark Apprentice kills Galen which was a huge missed opportunity if you ask me cause that would've completed the storyline they started in the first game and give us closure.
when I first played the first game everything about it blew my nine year old mind but the second for me didn't live up to the hype considering before I got it I read the Bobs Fett comic about the game and played the demo before getting the game
Bro imagine if Galen was canon and he survived and end up having to meet Ahsoka. Both are Anakins apprentices from two different parts of the war, two different parts of him.
*Sees the Star Wars franchise going down and crashing into the ground* *Checks canon* HONEY! Disney: Wut? Where’s my Starkiller? Disney: Wuuuut?! WHERE... IS-MY-STAR-KILLER?!! Disney: I uuuuh... thru it away. *Fans explode* Where?! Disney: Wah do u neeed ta know? I need it! *Starts rummaging through through games, throws out “Starkiller base” and “EA Battlefront 1-2”* Disney: Uh-uh! Don’t you think about typin off to bring dat violent stuff in! We’ve bin plannin dis movie for a few months! THE FRANCHISE IS IN DANGER! Disney: MAH WALLETS IN DANGER! YOU TELL ME WHERE MY STARKILLER IS EVIL WOMAN! WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE GREATER GOOD FOR THE FANBASE! Disney: Greater good for the fanbase?! Ah am Disney! Our children who watch are the greatest good u r evah gonna get!
When ever your life goes wild and you just can seem to carry on, listen to this song and remember what General Kota said to Galen: "Size means nothing to you!" ...shortly after, he took down a whole Star Destroyer! The light or dark side will be with you. Always.
