Captain Conquer Casuals usually love this film. But if someone loves the Star Wars lore and usually go in depth with it, they will not like this film at all since the last Jedi literally ruins everything about it. For example, from the original trilogy, we know luke would never lose hope but in this film, it ruins that aspect. TLJ was a massive disappointment, had a lot of potential.

Now that I think of it, it’s like Ep V where Rey is trained but leaves to -save the resistance- help Ben and then get betrayed and end up squished in the millennium falcon with 20 members of the resistance with porgs and a broken lightsaber

I get so fucking angry when I watch these trailers again because I remember being so hyped for the continuation of the Saga, then I saw the actual films and now I just can’t look at them the same anymore. It’s frustrating...

Despite how you feel bout the movie. How cool would it have been to be apart of that experience in soldier field. With thousands of other people... I take that back, I’m from AZ. I think I would of froze to death 🥶.
I just wish they knew what they were trying to do and had a MESSAGE behind it. Like overarching theme. George pulled his stuff from mythology over the years - timeless archetypes/stories people relate to. Now the ST is relegated to a disjointed mess which is so sad because I had such high hopes and loved the characters.
That’s like me with the rise of skywalker, Jurassic world fallen kingdom, Jurassic world dominion, Godzilla king of the monsters, and eternals, Thor love and thunder, and others. As for the last Jedi… it’s ok. It’s my least favorite of the trilogy and second least favorite star wars movie overall, but I still enjoy it.

Blue Gangsta At least The Phantom menace had a good lightsaber battle, with wonderful music, TLJ didn’t have that, so is a bigger letdown than the Phantom Menace.
Luke said “This isn’t going to go the way you think” in the trailer. That was a message to the fans, and clearly not many people picked up on it. If you were dissatisfied, it’s your own fault for having your expectations too high.
Great trailer to introduce the Last Jedi and probably used for the marching band's intro...but where's the halftime show? "The drumline we must have...hmmmmm?"
What a great movie. These movies really were awesome. Not sure 1 why this is recommended now and 2 why people complain about the greatest saga of all time.
I remember being so hype for this movie for a whole year and litterally buzzing walking in the cinema, then when I left I couldn't be more utterly disappointed with how much of a joke this movie was.
