As a Carded Focused collector, who built an addition on his home for his collection… I think it makes sense for you to display ONLY carded figures incased in good acrylic. Maybe not all need grading, but with the display you’re assembling, I say go pro or go downstairs. Maybe get some velvet ropes in there too.

Very good, BB! Another nice thing about the Ree Yees reissue is that they fixed his name pill to use normal sized font rather than the micro font on the original TVC release. Great stuff. Glad you got a lot of high grades!

Try putting a microfiber in the dryer with no dryer sheet, then once it's got a good static charge, lightly run it on the outside of that case and perhaps it'll grip that black speck out of sight. Worth a shot!
I’d like my collection totally graded because they look so nice in acrylic but it’s too expensive. I’ve sent sports cards to be graded but have yet to send in figures. Might have to send in my Vintage Kenner Yoda one of these days. Awesome grades on those Tim!
I find these videos interesting. I was curious as to how the Bib Fortuna would grade, especially with the issue of the bubble mark around the card. Fantastic haul and grreat video.

Some beautiful figs no doubt, but I'm still at an inexplicable loss as to why anyone would pay the time or money to grade any TVC figure? An original Kenner fig maybe, but, let's be brutally honest, grading anything by any of these guys is an absolute scam...
So am I bud, it’s the weirdest thing, a self appointed job, no qualifications at what they do, yet people pay 1000’s for their service. I’d happily sit there all day and give a grade to a cardback for half what these chancers charge 😅
Graders are self-certified, so adding the “grader’s tax” is a bit ridiculous and mental. The end price should be market value of the carded figure lowest eBay price in last 12 months minus the average $15 + $10 = $25 shipping “eBay tax” because eBay is crazy inflated versus actual toy shows and swap meets) + $15 acrylic + about $5 of labor. Yes, I’m saying grading adds a maximum utility of $20 of value for a realistic collector. It’s the “investors,” flippers, and speculators who amp these graders up, not the collectors who enjoy their passion of the storytelling. Anyone willing to pay graders, let alone pay for the shipping back and forth, should never complain about Hasbro’s price increases, because they’ve already demonstrated that the artificial inflating of grading services on a plastic toy are not at all a financial concern for them. Now, are there collectors that dabble in investing, flipping, and speculating? Yes there are, but it’s the traders and fellow fans who are true compatriots of the hobby’s joy. This here ends my pointless rant that everyone should ignore. 😊

Yeah grading is 100% not my kinda thing i don't keep things carded unless its for possible trade or resale. I was going to suggest something to free up space is to cover the card art.. so you can get more bubbles on the wall display but of course that completely defeats your collecting/display choices where you like the cardback almost as much as the figure inside. It does then make lining your entire rooms walls with figures the only option! haha. But even then i imagine you'll run into issues. If you do any lighting addons- or hanging ships it'd be great if you recorded the process some of the longer cuts could go up for channel supporters, but the more 'i did X this way' videos we have the better.

Great video bossk I still have to pick up the 2 pack Ewoks . Now when you get them graded you don't know what the grade is until you get them back when it gets shipped back to you?
@@BossksBounty oh that's good to hear. I had wondered if being shipped in star cases would lead to potentially score lowering rub marks from getting jostled in shipping. I like that U-graded Vader and I have some other figures that I think have great cards. I might just try and find a reputable Canadian company to get a few favorites graded.
