Ah I follow now. I suppose it is a big ask if you want to collect them all! We are more into it from a playing perspective, so the collection aspect is something we haven't thought too much about.
I never understood the appeal of the whole idea of the card game rather than a game that utilizes cardboard counters and a map ore game board or even miniatures I’m sure that they’re going to make a lot of money off of this card game but I’m not going to part with any of my money for this
This game is amazing. Most fun booster pack opening experience. This game fixes many issues with other games. The artwork is more in line with the comics
@@BoardOfItReviews resource issues within MTG. Also makes the game more accessible by not having to spend a bunch on lands. "Commander" format is way more interesting and balanced as well.
I personally love the variety of art styles, wasn't sold on it at first but now I really dig it the more I saw them leabing into it. I'm a fan of how full of personality and individual expression the interpretations of these familiar characters and scenes are. Polarization aside, I love it.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it! Tbf we aren't usually too bothered by the art, so it's a minor quibble for us. I think for us it's the differences between individual cards rather than the art style itself.
@@BoardOfItReviews that was me as well, but then as I opened more packs I noticed that much of the difference was something they were leaning into, and the intentionality saves it for me and makes me circle right back to enjoying it haha.
