Wow, what a review! I, too, enjoy Star Wars Villainous but see it as third tier. Very eager to get this expansion now. Thanks for your work and for the playthrough livestream!
I am looking forward to getting this new expansion, but I wish Darth Maul gameplay was more based on his story from the Clone Wars show since his story in that show was SO good! Phasma sounds very interesting to play since it sounds like you are building up your own army, and I can think of any other characters in Villainous overall that has that type of theme/gameplay aside from Horned King and Taskmaster. I love this!! Seems like a fun expansion. Do you guys have any recommendations on how to find people to play villainous with in person? I feel like my friends now wouldn’t love this type of game, but I absolutely love it.
I was worried about the expansions becoming 2 characters instead of 3, and i was really worried about the star wars expansion since i feel like that series is the most inconsistent (wording, quality, art, etc). However, i LOVE these two characters and i think it may be the best expansion in SW so far. There were some qualms i had with a few parts, but it feels like they had more quality production. After Sugar & Spite and now Revenge At Last, i feel like Ravensburger has really found its footing for these expansions. I actually liked Phasma's mover a lot, but i wish it was a lighter shade of grey. I got the target exclusive version of Maul but honestly the normal one seems to look cooler. The only big gripe i have is how Maul feels a little unstoppable and Phasma feels really hard. Maul reminds me of Lotso and Phasma reminds me of Mother Gothel/Horned King.

Yes, it just means you can discard this card (for no action) to be able to spend credits instead of ambition for ambition cards this turn. That means if a card costs 3 ambition you can instead spend 3 credits.
