Hey there Star Wars collectors and welcome to my review of the Star Wars The Vintage Collection Din Djarin (The Mandalrorian) with The Child. I am sill buzzing from Chapter 9 of The Mandalorian and now we have this amazing figure to round off the weekend. This figure is packed in with loads of accessories including an alternate head with out the Beskar helmet. You also get a 3.75" scale Child figure, a Camtono with Beskar pieces, plus his Jetpack.
This was originally described as The Mandalorian Build up Pack and is a Walmart exclusive. Thank you to In Demand Toys for getting these out so quickly to us Star Wars collectors!

The price is the same as the carbonized TVC figures wave to order here. I wonder if he was meant to be for that series with the way the paint looks? The HasLab figure's silver in the updated pictures matches what is on the Black Series Beskar figure.

Hes slightly more expensive due to the accessories, same as the Sith trooper with all the weapons

Agreed. I think the removable helmet for the black series affected the headsculpt. This interchangable head is much more better.

Even both vintage collection mandos have the screen accurate helmet while non black series have it.

@@jurassicwars Agreed, I've always been a 3.75 guy. I do like the Black Series but I pick and choose what characters I get from that line. TVC is Star Wars for me and nostalgia.

It a beautifully design 3.75 inch figure. That is why my children love the scale. With the Vehicles in scale to 3.75 inch, they could have a lot of opportunities. Proud of Hasbro for doing a Great figure. Thank you for your review. Love the head sculpt os way better then any Black Series, the whole figure is Amazing. Will definitely buy it for my children but I will buy one for me as well.

A couple days after receiving the figures myself, I remembered that Din received the Mudhorn signet and the jetpack after IG-11 sprayed him with bacta, if that helps justify the lack of blood on the head sculpt.

I’m kinda surprised that they did a separate head sculpt and not a removable helmet, I’ve never seen that on a Vintage Collection figure before. Now I’m hoping that they include the hole for the jet pack on the Haslab Razor Crest version, having it with the cloth cape would be amazing.

You could probably just move the soft goods cape to the side and put the jet pack on and put the cape under it

@@riokeast393 yeah, I just mean that if there isn’t the hole in the back to peg the jet pack into, you won’t be able to use it regardless. It would be perfect to drape the soft goods cape to the side like he does in the show.

For the price of the Razor Crest i think Hasbro should include the jetpack. It probably has the peghole, i expect it to be the same mold.

Really a great issue here & face likeness may be best I've seen in TVC to date. Only downer is the plastic cape as prefer cloth but presumably can replace with a 3rd party pickup. Thanks for the detailed quality review.

@@lamarravery4094 I did, and it didn't disappoint... well, there was actually a slight issue with mine😅 The bandolier and gunbelt, didn't have any paint-apps, it was just brown☹ So, I ended up buying some metallic silver paint, and did it myself. Enjoyable, but it shouldn't have been the case. Apart from that, though? Excellent figure! I hope yours arrives without any issues😂

Looks really nice! I didn't expect these to show up on our shores so quickly! I may have to pick up a second one to display with the Din Djarin headsculpt which looks superb! Theres is really no excuse for the Black series 6" version to look as bad as it did in the promo pics. Hopefully the released version will be as nice as this 3.75" version.

Definitely getting me one of these; but I wish it wasn't a Wallmart exclusive. Luckily I have some friends in the US who have no problem preordering it for me. 😅 This is one beautiful figure and the extra items (plus 'baby Yoda') are very cool. I'm amazed they put that many accessoiries in this package although I don't see the jetpack on the carded picture. Unless it's hidden on his back while in the package. EDIT: Just watching your video now and see the jetpack (and head). AWESOME! EDIT2: That peg on the jetpack is definitely a bummer as well as the cape not being a softgoods version but understandable as the softgoods cloak on the figure that comes with the Razor Crest was a big draw for backers. If needs be you could always make your own softgoods cape from a piece of cloth. I think a custom cloth cloak on this figue with the jetpack might look pretty awesome. 👌

Cripes! Mine isn't scheduled to arrive until just before Christmas. If at all. Because Wal-Mart SUUUUUUUUCKS. And even if I DO actually get it, it'll probably be battered and crunched, and possibly ripped. Because Wal-Mart SUUUUUUUUCKS. 😉 Your review, as usual, was great. Thank you!
