StarCoder: How to use an LLM to code 

Thank you for the video on Star Coder. I downloaded it from HG to my local machine and have had success getting it to run via the oobabooga Webui on a windows 11 machine with a 4090 24GB GPU. It was quite large as 55GB so it took some time to complete the download of the model. Also I had to try a few configuration settings and finally found that load-8bit allows it to run reasonably well. That said, it sometimes wanders off and starts asking me to help it solve random coding problems that don't have anything to do with what I asked it. hehe. Anyway, I've only started testing it out, but I'm pretty impressed so far. I hope this comment may help anyone else who might want to follow along this path as well. No API key required, locally run, and with my configuration as fast as pretty much any of the other models that I've tried. You have a very pleasant style so it's easy to watch your videos and pick up useful intel. Thanks again!

Great example, I have tried it immediately. However A for searching did not work. Search started but never finished. The name of the plugin in VScode has also changed.

The original plugin is no longer listed in the vscode marketplace, has this been renamed to llm-vscode?

It's strange... in the "# import a csv file into a pandas dataframe" the model refers in the comments "variable df" but it declares the variable data, besides, the pd.read_csv would rises an error because pd is not defined.

I don't get it, all these are LLMs for Python and JS/TypeScript right? Or can I generate code for any other of the thousands programming languages like Haskell or Lisp?
