Keep doing theese, they are REALLY helpful for new players or even Plat-Diamond league ( like myself). Also maybe some more detailed BO vs each race? Keep up the good work dude
It's quite similar to zerg macro, after your natural finishes you need to produce overlords based on number of hatches you have per inject cycle. For example: If you have 3 hatches you will need to produce 3 overlords every larva inject cycle to keep your macro going. I am learning terran at the moment and I am glad that similar rules apply. I couldn't get my math right since for zerg the hatchery is a production facility as well and for the terran these things are separate. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work!
Great Video! Just one question: Do you generally continue with this technique, even if, for instance, you lose a whole bunch of units in an engagement, or would you then spend that 200 minerals on units rather then on 2 depots until you reach that healthy ratio again? Because it feels like the technique relies primarily on building up a routine, but on the other hand of course you will almost always drop in supply more or less / have bad engagements during a game and then you might need every combat unit you can get, you know what i mean?
Hey Pancakes! That's a great question, so, what I do is, whenever I am about to engage I will: 1. Stop Supply Production, because troops will die and it will be more important to spend that money right after on more troops production instead of supply, if I keep producing supply im going to end up with something like: 60/120, you always need to cut the supply production whenever you lose stuff as much is necessary, the necessity I explain in the next step. 2. I will only go back to doing that technique whenever my ACTUAL SUPPLY is 15 supply to reach the maximum supply capacity, for example: 50/65, that's when I would resume my supply production, makes sense? (sorry if I spoke like a broken, bronze, next generation level english Kappa) 3. So based on what I said above, is to always stay a ratio of 15-20 compared to the maximum supply, which would be Ideally 50/65 or 50/70 maximum. 4. To wrap it all, you only build supply when it is really necessary!
This makes perfect since imo! Thank's for the reply! I'm not a native english speaker either by the way, so I'm the last one who would notice any inadequacy ;)
Hi Bombs Great videos, really appreciate you taking the time to do this for us. I have a question about terran vs zerg, what is the best way to counter mutalisks, i have so many games, where mutas are just flying around, raiding my economy, and I am too slow to catch them, It's hard to build vikings and thors, because then I neglect my ground forces, so when I am playing it's like I have to make this crappy choice, "do I lose the ground war, or do I lose the sky war" is there a solid build order to play against zerg, where I can protect myself against muta harassment, and still have enough ground forces to apply pressure of my own? I imagine using lots of turrets around my base, and then just pushing with siege tanks and hellbats, widow mines and liberators, I really like your terran vs any race build guide. In that terran vs any race build guide, would that build be good against muta harassment, if not, what other steps should I take to counter them?
Muito bom Bombs, afinal o game quando começa, nada mais é do que uma timeline "esperando" nossas ações de forma otimizada, nada como ter este parâmetro de tempo para não sofrer o bloqueio dentro da dinâmica do game! Abraços!
basically production/4 rounded. so 1-1-1 2 orbitals currently producing = 5/4 = 1.25 = 1 or 3-1-1 2 orbitals producing 7/4 = 1.75 = 2 And I'm sure this would follow with more production, however 200 is the cap so you'll probably never see the need for more then 2 or 3 at a time
Do you hotkey the SCVs so you can jump back to them each time and tell them to builld 2 more. Etc. Or do you just not Shift command them back to minerals so you can see if they stop work. ¿
