Now that Blizzard has released all the missions for Nova Covert Ops, we compiled them together for one full game movie. This includes missions 1 through 9.
The campaign takes place a few years after the epilogue of Legacy of the Void (post-2508). The Terran Dominion, led by Emperor Valerian Mengsk, is attempting to recover from the civil wars and zerg attacks that have ravaged their civilization. Along with facing political opposition, several Dominion ghosts have gone missing, the trail leading to a secretive terran group called the "Defenders of Man." Nova Terra is assigned to investigate, but goes missing. Meanwhile, zerg attacks return on the outer colonies of the Terran Dominion, with Emperor Valerian Mengsk's new regime slow to respond to the sudden assaults.

Urso L. Even pro players often lose games due to lack of detection. So give general Davis a pass. XD even pros make mistakes.

@@reychop Thing is, the pros don't ask them to cloak and expect them to decloak, Davis did. And not just any ghost, but one of the best there is. In the case the memory wipe didn't work I would have a cloak detector in the room there. In fact, asking her to cloak in a room without a way of detection when she has become a liability is a pretty stupid mistake once you think about it.

Seeing as how we never got StarCraft: Ghost, I’m genuinely delighted they decided to give Nova some decent story. It may not have been the StarCraft shooter originally planned, but they did way more with nova than just a few appearances in WoL and for that I’ll always be grateful.

This channel is great for that - cutscenes can be amazing but also leave a lot of the story out, that gameplay helps fill. GLP does a pretty good job of making these more like movies and not walkthroughs! 🐧

Amon: The infinite cycle must end. Kerrigan: Oh, no you don't. Davis' action using psi emitters to make Valerian unworthy mirrors Mengsk's "Zerg Invasion" on Tarsonis to take down the Confederacy. Alarak plots to avenge his Death Fleet. He'll be back for more war on Terrans someday. Artanis will surely not like that news that their Terran friends are in danger again. Zagara (though not mentioned in this arc) must have been gathering more feral zerg for the Swarm. She would be pissed off finding out about the demise of them zerg affected by Davis' psi emitters. The new Queen won't let her broods be used as Terran tools again. Amon: That is why I wanna end this infinite cycle. 😅

@@RikoJackify Even though i agree, but I think that there are things that can put the script in motion in sc3. The UED for instance. I don't think that after a relatively small expedition fleet in brood war got destroyed, they will let that slide to the zerg and Dominion. Mb theyll send a larger fleet. Not as epic as Amon( even though he sucks imo) . I think that Nova will be some 3rd party, helping Dominion from the shadows while Matt and Valerian lead a frontall assaults against UED

1 year after, just to say that there is a reason that zerg infested kerrigan ; human ghost are not exatly "Human" , they are much more powerfull . they use this "excuse" to infested kerrigan too , she is way smaller than a ultralisk, but still have more hp and dmg with her zerg "wings" .

@@unknow11712 Not just wings mind you, Psionic people can do all sorts of bs with their power, enhancing physical abilities is just the tip of the iceberg, sadly they have to keep them in check or the powers develop at an uncontrolled rate. Kerrigan as an example killed her own parents with her powers.

@@idianictus6688 umm,i don't think they can really show Kerrigan not to fuck up with them since..Kerrigan could probably blow Earth to dust if she wanted too..Kerrigan is Xel'naga after all..but yeah i would love to see UED which supposed to be OP raid the Koprulu Sector again..the first expedition doesn't even really using the UED force as far as i remember but even when they doesn't really using their real technology they succeed in conquered Korhal and some of zerg world ...possible some protoss world too..hopefully that's is starcraft 3

Amon was basically the most powerfull thing in the universe, now kerrigan is the most powerfull thing. Class 10 ghost aka highest psionic potential human + overmind zerg alterations + primal zerg essence evolution + essence/lifeforce of a xelnaga. Literally nothing can stop her which means for SC3, raynor and kerrigan cant be characters/present since kerrigan could kill every evil thing ever. luckily, they didn't burn all the bridges with the storyline. Zagara leads the swarm. That one other queen ordered with the destruction of the protoss from HOTS is still there. Alarak and Nova story is open ended. These are all little campains that they could make. But no villian could ever come the power of AMON, especially with kerrigan in the way, thus SC3 looks unlikely. Besides, why?? unless they change the game completly, they just make balance changes. ONLY reason would be an updated engine that supports vulkan api with multi-threading and huge optimization. However they could just let hardware get faster.

its kind of amazing how much detail they put into the environments when its so zoomed out you can just barely see any of it. its so high end, if they zoomed it in and changed the controls from mouse controlled to FPS keyboard controls, it could be a whole new game ready to relaunch. its a shame it will never happen haha

In the end, Nova will be needed again for more dangerous tasks. For now, her crew earned a break. Nova just needs a new line of work. Killing people or hunting them down sounds cool, but yessh. It seems the only time she will be useful is when her team needs to eliminate a target, capture one for questions, or obtain information.

If you side with Thosh in your wings playthrough before you start playing Hots he shows up, but the cannon choice is Nova (if you start Hots without first playing Wings for instance).

A shame this didn't sell well enough for them to want to make more mission packs. I've always wondered what became of Niadra or really any of the Zerg after Kerrigan left them. These missions make it seem like all Zerg (at least around Terran space) are feral now. Which is kind of lame. I'd pay good money for a Taldarim mission pack too.

Nova just isn't an interesting character, and the story was just more amnesia nonsense that we've seen a thousand times. That's why I didn't buy it at least. It is a shame that we won't get more interesting stories because of its failure though.
