Goblin should have won game #1. If he had continued attacking Elazor's main base, that would have been his win. Those mutas and lings couldn't have killed his base fast enough. Too bad he had no way to know.

Wow game 3 was super exciting to watch. I'm really enjoying goblin's play style and i'm super excited for the future of SC2! Its only going to continue to evolve more and more! Cheese is being re-defined! The longer SC2 is played the more I feel it will become a multi-layered cake similar to how golbin is playing in game 3. The more I see top level Zerg play opponents who can't be read so easily the more I see them being held back by their drone count, its almost like they are becoming less and less flexible as they desire their drone count to reach a certain number before they feel they can properly respond. The longer this goes on the more the opponent feels they are in control of the match which slowly weakens the opposing player mentally. Thank you for another lovely cast Lowko! It's hard to believe it's been already over 15 years in the past since i played ''starcraft'' as semi pro player in regional championships. now this game trully evolved to next stage i dont known lots units what they use in fight but still is nice to watch how the next generation players play game from my teenage time. :) awesome matches!

I feel that in the last game goblin just needed to pull more drones to attack the pylon from the start. He saw it early but didn't respond properly. I also this since he didn't pull on time, at least cancel the hatchery, then he wouldn't have to deal with the cannons...

As a zerg player myself.. This protoss inspires me. Loved that playstyle, goblin was obviously planning ahead, some dynasty warriors tactics stuff jajaja.

I've always viewed cannon rushing as the lowest form for Protoss.. but.. there's a certain beauty in it, isn't there? It's like a Jackson Pollock painting. Utter garbage, but there's a certain artfulness in it.

Game 3 is so close to what I want PvZ to look like. Mass Phoenix wiping out the overlords, but following that with DT's. Wipe out the overlords and there is no detection. And DT's hit so hard. The only difficult part is both DT's and Phoenixes are micro intensive units.

Elazer should have just double/triple expanded in the last game and let the natural die off and just be a vacant spot for the time being.. protoss invested 800 minerals to kill an expansion that wasn't even really running yet and zerg decided to instead make useless spines to get his natural back.. big mistake..

I can imagine them releasing SC 3 with units and structures attacking and moving with speed and efficiency depending on their HP. And VR support, of course.

That was an awesome series.

Last time I saw goblin, he was a bit of a one trick pony, with his immortal shield battery rushes. I'm glad to see that he's got some other tricks up his sleeve, in particular the mass phoenix transition into overlord deny was very interesting.

Goblin could have easily won the first game if he'd just killed the structures instead of running back to defend. Although he didn't know there weren't any other structures hiding anywhere else, so that makes the decision harder.

Man the cheese and mastery level was really high

second draw in sc2 i saw first one was in HotS i guess or WoL its been a long time it was a TvZ and i don't remember the name of the Zerg but the Terran was Milz from slayers and it was casted by khaldor so it has been a long time since he casted sc2 xD

Surprised Goblin walked back to defend, I'd think that he could destroy his enemies base faster than a small squad of mutas could take out all his buildings.

Man if goblin left the immortal to finish off that extractor, it would have been a fairly easy win for him - what an awesome first game! And don't care what anyone says - absolutely love watching Goblin's playstyle.

Lowko back in HotS there was a game, wheer the protoss ran out of money for the interceptors and Life build 17 sporecrawlers at ine base and killed the two zealots with drones and then they drawed!

Game #1 could have been won by goblin he had way more structures than elazer but he went back to his base.. Plus he didn't notice the structures were bleeding out, although I think the overlords could have thrown creep down and he had 2 I think.

Time for "an-udder-one".
