StarCraft: Remastered Cutscenes (Game Movie) 1998/2017 

Man, the music from the old blizzard games was just unmatched brilliance, diablo (tristram theme especially) the modernish western style of the terrans, the otherwordly themes of the zerg etc... Blizzard used to really care about creating brilliance and used to be one of the real gems of the gaming world. -sigh- how times have changed. Blizzard lived long enough to go from the hero to becoming the villain. While all those old companies like westwood etc... died heroes.

Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together! This is exactly what I was looking for; I’m about to play through SC2 for the first time and I wanted a refresher before I dive in, and all the other “movie” versions of remastered are just the briefings and CG cutscenes. This is perfect!

I've always wondered when did Kerrigan really infested/controlled Raszagal. Did she really did it in the exact moment she arrived in Shakuras? Do we as players ever really knew Raszagal at any point?

The dialogue is perfect but mannnn those voice filters. The fact that Jack Ritschel(RIP) could sound so different as Duke, Zeratul, DuGalle, and the Overmind is testament to him, but mannnn the writing and sound design. Absolutely lightning in a bottle.

I find it funny how Kerrigan still says “Yes, Cerebrate?” to the player even when the player is the Protoss Executor

Here I thought the Hybrid concept only came from SC2 and Narud being what he is in Heart of the Swarm was woah. It was actually here, in SC1, hidden. Holy moly man

3:48:50 the voice acting in this game is unmatched. Heres one example that is easily missed. Duran hyperventilates for a slight second delivering his line bc he is so enthralled in his position of power and purpose. Minute details like this, which are plentiful throught the game, truly set this games actors out from many other forms of entertainment. This games story telling and acting is truly a blessing for us to behold.

I love that everyone has extremely reasonable motives throughout the entire story. Yeah, it’s all goofy science fantasy, but if the characters are legible it doesn’t matter what the setting is. In particular, Aldaris and his character arc are extremely underrated, and I didn’t fully appreciate it until going back through the whole story again.

Kerrigan letting Zeratul just walk away after killing his matriarch is just such a stone cold evil move... man. I'd pay good money to erase SC2's plot from my head. And it's so sad, too. I looked forward to the game SO MUCH when it was first announced about... 16 years ago. Jesus. I loved SC1 so much, I remember being so pumped... what a gigantic letdown. Just the way Zeratul says "you will REGRET this decision, Kerrigan" at 3:44:42 with SO MUCH HATRED behind his voice only to turn into such a loser... god damn it

Idk if people notice this but I've always loved that after zeratul kills zasz everything for everyone devolves into chaos, no one knows what to do , kerrigan is chasing her own tail, and then BOOM, the overmind wakes up and not only is fine but now has all the information and a fully formed planned on how to win .

I ABSOLUTLELY LOVEEEE how fucking evil Kerrigan is, its to almost universe petty levels she's reached. And not only that goddamn effective! I think my only beef after rewatching all these cutscenes several times is the moment at 3:52:15. We didn't get many excellent female characters with depth hell we don't really get that now, but this game pulled it off years ago, but I think this line kinda under minds this entire character's villain's journey. I don't think she's a "Queen Bitch" i think she's more than justified in her roaring rampage throughout the galaxy, completely upsetting the balance of power and back to back betrayals because in this universe those in power would have and have done so to her she's just faster in making the decision than them. I wish to see more characters like her, and although I liked her in Starcraft 2 I think they nerfed the hell out of her and changing her motivation from just screwing over everyone to her being mad her fling of a boy toy (sorry Jim I love ya tho) is supposedly dead genuinely undermines her character. Anyway 10/10 OG Starcraft Kerrigan, slay queen slay, ect, ect.

Have you seen the StarCraft Mass Recall Mod for StarCraft II? The Entire SC1 and BW build in the SC2 engine with custom cutscenes build by amazing modders!

The cutscene at 53 mins still gives me shivers… such a brilliant homage to Aliens

How simple things were back then and what I wouldn't give to have a chance at giving a younger me just a little advice. Blizzard used to be wonderful at creating meaningful games and now we get the like of Diablo: Immoral... In every game blizzard now releases. A sign of the times if you look at the bigger picture. First of all, thank you so much for this vid. This brings back more memories than you can imagine. I played under the name "D-Fens[TC], rank 4 in ladder season 2. I got to know Villert (Season 1 winner and marked as "Zerg Power house"), and to this day we are still buddies irl. I never forget the feeling playing Starcraft, and even though I of course ventured into other games after season 2, nothing ever beat that feeling. Thank you again. "Thank God for cold fusion", I will never forget that cutscene :)

Amazing, thank you for doing this. It isn't perfect, I would have preferred for it to be a slight delay between campaigns. Or just like, 5 seconds to digest the end of the previous campaign. Anything. And the music is too loud. But amazing still that you've taken the time to do this!!!

I really would love that blizzard would make a exclusive Confederate Campaign....i remember there was one, the StarCraft Shareware version that had 4 missiones where you play as a Confederate Commander, working with Cerberus and their classified knowledge about the Xenomorphs called Zerg. The last mission is with General Duke in his tank. I played the heck outta that Demo.

Thanks for this brother, playing through Sc2 and due to the age of Sc1 and the gameplay mechanics even with its remaster I'd prefer to just get up to speed and then continue with Sc2 updated controls.

I hate how the remastered cinematics are all in the wrong aspect ratio and cut off half a second before the end. The original cinematics had these cool fade to scanlines that was really stylish and it's all lost here.

1:25:00, in this game, if plater destroys the infested terrian command center, Gerneral Duke will show up and threaten Tassardar. Because Duke's threatening pissed Tassardar, he decide to lunch the attack which explains why Protoss forces attack Terrian's camp in the next movie.

You should have added the cut scenes and dialogue from the Starcraft Demo. Zerg backstory to it. Xenomorphs they were called.

This game had so much feel and atmosphere. The sounds, animations and models are just... can't describe it. Finished it tens of times. I mean all these about the original. This remastered SC because some unpleasant modifications already lost some of the charm of the original.

Sorry to hear about the demonetization of your channel. Did you try to argue that your channel doesn't do voiceovers or include a webcam because there's a sizeable demand by viewers who are just trying to watch the "storyline" game footage in it's raw form? Might also be worth arguing that, despite it being so short, the gameplay footage is YOUR gameplay which is the unique way you choose to complete the missions.
