This rendition makes me cry, man. It's absolutely perfect. And as a bassist, I have to say that you kick ass man. Good split between plucks and slaps. You rule, dude!
Wow, you are spot on with the Terran theme - paying attention to the little percussion details too - very amazing job. I was especially impressed with the constant control for the rhythm of the percussion (the "water drop" like effect) @ 1:00
Jesus Christ. Awesome bass, awesome tone and awesome everything. This has got to be the best thing i've heard so far and it is tickling the nostalgia spot in my brain in so many ways. Thanks for the chills and keep up the awesome work dude!!!
hi Dean Dimarzo, im still watching this in 2021 since 2015. its been almost 20years I've played starcraft back then in year 2000, never gets old. thanks for the masterpiece Dean. 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
To this very _day_ , whenever I’m keen on running a Terran game on SC2, will I mute the comparatively-paltry in-game OST, and amplify my experience with this blasting in a background tab. Props to you for perfectly capturing and encapsulating all that made the original track fantastic to begin with, while seamlessly adding your own spin.
Seeing it done on video gives me a new perspective on the composition of the song itself. I'm working on a Battletanx/Starcraft-esc song currently. Those bass taps are perfect, gives me ideas.
+longestsoloever Me be you never played these games, but I would love to hear a twisted metal cover or a sparkster (rocket knight adventures) cover :D Love from Argentina :)
This, among the other tracks of the first game, have been included as of HotS to be able to be played during gameplay. So even though some people have heard this for the first time in SC2, it's should rightly be labeled as a SC1 track. Although I suppose that since tracks from both games can work in either, perhaps all should be considered simply as music tracks from Starcraft :)
BFCrusader I kinda agree with you on that. Surely, it's stated in the description that it's from the first Starcraft game but the title is what you see first and it somewhat adds to the confusion. Great cover though! :)
