A scene of a star destroyer bridge from star wars. Made with the unreal engine. This is a 180 degree scene, that's why the back of the ship is not finished. Sorry for the wide-screen aspect ratio.
Love it! This is EXACTLY what I want in a Star Wars video game! I’m tired of dogfight starfighters flying X-wings and TIE fighters, all games offer this, but I want a game mode where you can control the capital ships, Star destroyers, Rebel cruisers, etc. I want to play the POV of an admiral where you can give orders to AI starfighters and send them to attack certain area or ship, be able to perform orbital strikes, fire ship turrets and missiles, and be able to move the capital ship to fight other capital ships ... just like the intro of Episode 3 where the CIS and Republic Ships where fighting above Coruscant! Someone make that happen!
The closest I got to this is with Avorion (steam game) and using workshop models for ships/fighters and turrets, theres even sound pack for star wars weapon sounds.
@@japtakito8551 Either just google "steam Avorion" and you will get the store page, I cant remember if youtube removes links in the comments or not, store.steampowered.com/app/445220/Avorion/ oh a small warning, you cant interract with planets in this game, its space only, theyre just as background (tho some of them look really pretty) Im currently using executor + imperial star destroyer models from the steam workshop as ship designs (and holy moly do people make them look legit good, attention to detail and all that) it also has ships from many scifi francises, battlestar galactiga, cylon basestars, dead space ishimura, star trek ships, even has some death stars, and the game is moddable too if you dont like some parts of it or want to adjust it a little, and it just had a 5 euro DLC patch few days ago that came with a patch with improvements to some stuff too. It also has player run servers (some of them have PvP disabled like the one I play on, coz screw that). Also making your own ships to actually look good with the ship designer takes a looot of effort + learning to use the editor, but hooray for steam workshop so I dont have to bother with that since all my own ships are just utility based flying bricks :D Some pics from my current ships: imgur.com/a/SkJmdhC imgur.com/a/nYT4zrT Imperial supply depot as station, the guy even made small tie fighters and AT AT:s on its deck :o imgur.com/a/vR3Zx2F imgur.com/a/K7cn2Hv imgur.com/a/tlle9Kl I also have tie fighters and interceptors as fighters on my ships to complete the feel (tho you can only have a maximun of 120 fighters on ANY ship, thats the limit)
Lucasarts doesn't actually exist anymore. They were dissolved after the 2015 buyout and the licensing rights for Star Wars games were sold off to other companies like EA.
They published the Jedi Knight games with Luke's academy on Yavin, a gritty shooter that still needs a sequel called Republic Commando, and the better-story-than-the-sequels KOTOR and KOTOR II. All AWESOME games. But they're about it. Truly quality over quantity.
Walks around, "It looks fine." Sparks fly from a damaged mouse droid, "That can be fixed, easy." Walks some more, "It's alright." Explosion, *No, it's okay! It's all-"* More explosion, "FINE! IT'S ALL FINE! NOTHINGS-" All crew, please proceed to evacuation, this is not a drill, *"NO NEED! IT'S ALL FINE! NOTHING IS WRONG WITH-"* TIE fighter passes the bridge, *"THAT HAS NOTHING TO WITH 'THIS' VESSEL! WE'RE ALL-"* Mouse droid passes, "See, the mouse droid isn't worried."
I know this is a year later but I'd assume someone drops down a ladder maybe to make sure they aren't leaving their stations without permission? Pretty strict but that's the empire for ya.
Could it have been so hard for Disney/KennedyFilms to do this Bridge for their sad and super expensive hotel instead of that 80's B-movie bridge/videogame?!? This is beautiful by the way.
one thing that might be seen in the movies but makes little sense if kept that way: The "trenches" have stairs facing the rear so the crew don't have to climb out of there.
Hi, how did you go about the models? I plan to model a scene in Maya, it has to resemble some references. Many levels use modular assets for the architecture but that can't be the case. I think I should model the hole thing and export it as separate objects to unreal. What was your approach? Great stuff anyway, it goes without saying really!
Thanks. I modelled the entire room in 3dsmax, I exported the support beams separately, then I modelled the cargo boxes, little robot, and all of the little details separately. I did model everything related to the ship in the same max scene to get the right scale. I used substance painter to texture everything.
Hi mate, its a great works. I'm looking for that kind of 3D landscape for a shortfilm project based on Star Wars, can you provide to us the source file that you used for the video?
Hello, thanks. This project was a school project, therefore the files are licensed by the school its made for. U can use this movie however you like as long as it's not for commercial use though.
If only there was a download somewhere... Then again, knowing how stingy certain unnamed companies are about things like this, I don’t blame the creator for not posting one...
There are a lot of different things I did to achieve this, what specific thing are you interested about, the triggered events, the lighting, materials, particles, ...
Me: ( Sees The Inside Of The Destroyer ) wait, is that a venator?! Please tell me that's a venator!!! ( After Seeing Death Star 2 In Front ) oh, it's the nerdish type of star destroyer
What sound effect did you use for the ship's hum? I've tried finding free ones, but all I get are 10-hour long 'study aboard a spaceship' ASMR tracks with very vehement protests about using the track for free in their descriptions.
Something is missing...I can´t put my finger on it, but something is missing... Oh, i know!!! It´s the many pools of piss under the crew seats, from every time Darth Vader walked by! And from the many captains and commanders that he force choked and pissed themselves to death!
