Today, I tried out a Stardew Valley Challenge mod, that proved WAY more difficult than I thought it would be! Make sure to subscribe :) TWITCH ► / seaniedew TIK TOK ► www.tiktok.com... INSTA ► / seanie_dew Edited by: Syntreli
This is a pretty good metaphor for what it's like to live with a disability (physical or mental). Something most players take for granted is now a task in and of itself, and that drastically changes how you have to think about every other thing you do in your play through, down to simple and mindless tasks like refilling watering cans.
you can influence the direction in which trees fall when you stand in front of them while chopping them down. If you stand more to the left, they will fall to the right and vice versa. it always works.
This is basically what it's like living with chronic fatigue. You have to optimize every step if you're going outside and want to get things done. Def hard mode
Obviously it's funnier as is, but I think for a more reasonable challenge, walking shouldn't drain your energy once you are sluggish. You still wouldn't be able to do any work, but you could at least walk home or to the saloon or the spa without passing out
Here a trick you should know: You can actually know in which direction the tree will fall. If you are more on the left side, it will fall on the right and vice versa.
Ok so this is a tip that not a lot of people know so when you’re in front of the tree where it doesn’t disappear it falls to the right and when you’re behind it where it does disappear it will fall to the left. Enjoy this lovely tip👍
do get one cc bundle without walking u start by just sleeping till day 5 go to mines and then the challenge beggins no preparing or planting or nothing before u get the sword or any other way of moving
You know you can make trees fall in a certain way when youre underneath them by hitting them in the opposite direction to where you want them to go. So like if youre underneath a tree and want to make it fall right, put your mouse on the bottom left side of it and cut it there and it will go right. it was successful for me too often for it to be a coincidence
There’s a glitch at least on the switch where you don’t need a mod for this and the very first time I ever played it did that and I was like “forget this stupid game I can’t even walk across the town” and I didn’t try to play again for a whole year :)
I play on 25% profits and a hunger mod, so much so that the game feels ridiculously easy and overpowered if I don't. I would LOVE to play with this mod if it drained energy when running, but not when walking. The hunger mod already makes energy almost meaningless since you need a couple good meals just to keep your hunger meter down, so this would keep energy meaningful later on, and make constant grueling 20-hour workdays much rarer. As they should be. EDIT: Even better if sitting or going into bed (in single player) also slowly healed.
You know, you can just edit your original comment instead of making 3 more, right? Also if you do 4:57 (or any other time in the video), then people will be less confused why you said that. They can just listen to the youtuber rescite the question again.
One thing I disliked in Natsume Harvest Moon: One World was that walking/running DID take stamina. Why would you intentionally add that tedious, dumb feature into a game that never had it? XD
