Starfield 🌌 Massive UPDATE: First Look At The Creation Kit Mods

my issue with the new layout (at least on Xbox), is when you chose a mod, the window size increases, which than can cover the register name, like "followers".., i need to than swap the mod window fast, to see which register I'm in..

I would 100% agree with that statement. Marketing it as mods was a clever inception from ages ago. But in saying that happy to pay some legendary mod creators for their efforts. I just wonder what the cut is for Bethesda.

The creation store will be in Starfield main menu after downloading new patch. The creation kit is on steam to download separately.

Yes I would as it will disable achievements.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ Some are achievement-safe. I believe there is a note on each mod, or perhaps a list of achievement-safe mods in the Club somewhere, perhaps just through the search function. Fairly sure all official Bethesda add-ons are achievement safe, and some of the others as well.

Official's are safe for sure but all others are fair game and will prob disable your achievements. Also note some mods will require a new game from you to be able to use the mod. Not the official ones but the third-party ones.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ I am a big fan of Bethesda games. Spent over 1000 hours in Skyrim only. I was waiting for Starfield, thinking that it will be as interesting as previous games from grandmaster. But it was biggest disappointment. I realized very quick that it wasn’t game made by fans for fans. It appeared to be a product to sell, wax apple of some sort. Looks like apple, feels like one, but uneatable. Why we have to grind endlessly? What idea behind it? Save world from evil? Restore community after apocalypse? Seems like grinding for a sake of grinding. Obtain another plush set is the only goal. Game desperately needs logical explanation for sending couriers in age of in-helmet intercoms. Connect all other dots. Redo main quest needed. Plush set isn’t what game really lacks to shine.

Not happy with paid mods but happy that we got the creation kit which will bring many paid mods and also even better free mods. Ill take one for the team and pay for these over priced mods to show you all.

They’re fully optional. If you’re not willing to pay, you won’t get the goods associated with the price. I’m not very keen on these micro transactions myself, but at least I’m reasonable about it. Would you steal from a grocery store? Would you take something without paying? Again, they’re fully optional and no one is forcing you to buy them.

So do you steal things from the gas station because they charge money for snacks? Why is this different to you? You don’t have to have these things, they aren’t necessary content locked behind a paywall. They’re optional content available for purchase. Get over yourself

Yer to be honest its a little bit underwhelming on launch but it will get huge later. I think the nexus modders should get some dono's for their work tho.

It's actually free if you pay for the premium version when they give you the 1000 credits plus those other mods will be remade free in Nexus in a few days because of the creation kit being released cheers.

Paid mods are like a double-edged sword - they can enhance the game experience, but we don't want them to turn into a money pit!

They all suck and once mods get going it’s an afterthought like fallout 4 idk why everyone is worried fo4 has a tons of mods will be the same

My audio is fucked up too!!!

I think many hearts and mind were broken on this. Would be nice if they released this update test environment we could jump into and suss whats it actually like.

Do you have the Enforcer pistol mod? From what I've read, that one seems to be causing a lot of audio issues

Most of the major bugs like mission bugs have been fixed. For the most part the game is much healthier then ever. However im sure the new update and creation kit will bring a horde of their own bugs.

I bought the game did some console commands to get items and just stopped playing to wait for this moment lol I’d wait til shattered space comes out so around fall buy it

@@SiNKiLLeR_ if it helps ya test when i cleared reseerved space it was fine, then i re added mods played for a bit then my game crashed and when i reloaded there was no audio again im on series s so maybe its not strong enough to run mods

its also not no audio its just really spotty

I got the no audio bug after installing a bunch of mods Xbox series X I rebooted several times that didn’t work so I reinstalled the game and everything works sound and mods all good now.

Had issues with crashing but Audio was fine for the most part. Im wondering if its mostly effecting xbox users.

Agree, and it's even more hilarious that people are bitching about it. If it's like Fallout 4, some of the same mod creators will do a free version of the mod, then maybe an alternate color for the Creation store. I'm happy to buy on occasion if I like the author's work and want to support them.

100% happy to pay the creators for great mods. Thats a fair system. My job will be to pay for them all and show them to you lot so you can skip or get them.
