Get a deeper look at the various ways you can tackle combat and experiences in Starfield with the developers. They give insight from today's Starfield Direct. #starfield #gaming
Not gonna lie the gameplay looks substantially more polished and more fluid in nearly all terms. A massive improvement from that first trailer that looked a bit wonky. Hopefully they have improved on the enemy AI so it actually provides a dynamic and varied gunfight encounters while also allowing for non lethal RPG options!
Looks like typical Bethesda studios fare just with a shiny coat of paint. I'd bet my left nut this game will just be largely empty and unimportant world space with gameplay that boils down to a extremely streamlined/watered down version of the standard single player fps experience. Their games have always been offensively simple but pretty good at hiding it and I'm betting this will be no different except for including all the more recent problems their games have.
Going to catch flak for this, but the addition of some kind of multiplayer co-op would really be welcome in this title. I feel like as a singleplayer game it's almost too open ended and won't pull us back in to 'grind'. Going to guess the story won't have the same flair that carries other top rated singleplayer titles. It'll also be riddled with bugs on launch and memed heavily for the first month or so. First Game Pass then see if it's a buy or only Game Pass visit. But so far, cool adverstisement slightly better looking than a Destiny game although Destiny has it's merits.
This game is going to release a hot mess. Think mass affect Andromeda with a chunky slice of cyberpunk. Don't get invested in excitement just yet people.
When they were getting them to say their fav parts of the game, Emil, lead writer, said his favourite thing about the game was the ending. I'd bet it goes a bit lovecraft where you start communicating somehow with eldritch space horrors lol, and they show or teach you things that begin to manifest as these powers.
I'm just happy its not overblown like Cyberpunk's. I feel the only thing hype is killing is their next Elder Scrolls. Starfield looks like it'll either be a solid 8/10 or a 6/10 depending on the launch experience.
@@HalAnime2 My favourite game from Bethesda is the evil within tbh. Didn’t enjoyed Skyrim, neither fallout 4. I would very much enjoy a new the evil within game
@@lofi1598 not for me tho. Don’t really enjoy first person game and much less huge games like this. Over 1.000 planets to explore? It ain’t for me for sure
I think EVERY other part of the game looks incredible, but this combat looks extremely disappointing. Say what you want about Fallout 4, but I definitely did enjoy seeing enemies explode into chunks when you shoot them with a lot of bullets.
Well… yeah…. Fallout 3 was just oblivion with guns. And this is just oblivion with guns… in space. Bathesda builds off what it knows, usually. I don’t mean any of this in a positive or negative way, it’s just what they do
I think big weapons show on the character's back in some shots, but I don't think I see a handgun holster in any of the shots. My guess is handguns are too easily clippable with all the wacky armors we get throughout the game and all the mods that get added to a pistol, so they gave up on them specifically.
looks good but also looks like fallout 4 with a fresh paint of color, basically FO4 in space. i like the idea but it doesnt bring anything new. the melee animations are just lioke FO4. its bethesda tho, i dont espect much
Do you guys really think the 1st person hand to hand looks good? The animations still look like fallout 4 or skyrim but better graphics 🤦♂️i honestly can not be the minority here.
Nothing special, gunplay doesn't seem like it has impact, AI surely will be brain-dead. Nothing to see here, it will be worse than what we are seeing at launch.
@@Andiandru ...And how many of those are exclusives? I'm mostly a PC gamer, but if I was gonna get a system I'm not seeing much of a reason to choose Xbox.
I want to be hyped by this but I can't trust any gaming company this doesn't look bad but the gameplay needs some blood and gore or something instead of a floating ragdoll
One thing i like is the pissibility ti switch between first person and 3rd person view like in Skyrim. Still, this is not a game for which i would by an Xbox, i'll wait untill the next elder's scroll and see if is worth it. Since i'll only buy a PS5 for FF7R part 2 i could buy an xbox just for the next Elder's Scroll.
I like how it seems to build off fallout 4 combat, like it built of fallout 3, which built off oblivion. Just improving the system is always good. I also like some of the space ship interiors, reminds me of alien isolation.
Guns still seem underwhelming when it comes to visual and audio feedback. Guns sound weak, lack recoil, and proper kick and they don't seem weighty. Third person anims still look clunky and dated.
