Thanks for this video, I recreated it, using inter-system cargo links to have all the items to craft in one place. For me the cargo links work perfectly fine, while sleeping. Also, you need to feed them with He-3 only in 1 end, I supplied He-3 to the Freya end, form one in the planets there iwth an inter-system cargo link. Managed to make 8000 batches of O2-shots and advanced nearly 3 levesl at level 147.
Hello again, I am having some trouble with this. I put an outpost on Freya IV-c that sends He-3 to Freya III by cargo link. I put two inter system cargo links on Freya III to send Sedative and Chlorine to Freya III. I watched the He-3 from Freya IV-c land on Freya III. I watched the two cargo ships from Freya III leave for Vega II-c. When I went to Vega II-c, I saw delivery of Sedative and Chlorine, but the ships didn't move after that. So, I put an outpost on Vega I-b that sends He-3 to Vega II-c by cargo link. Now I on Freya III I see two ships from Vega II-c delivering Sedative and Chlorine, and I see He-3 from Vega I-b. However, it only works while I am watching. If I sleep, nothing happens in the background. The only change I notice is that any He-3 that I've stored at Vega II-c and linked to the inter system cargo links is used up. Any ideas? Apologies for the long post.
@@RichardBejtlich Sometimes the links get screwed up. If this happens, I help myself by deleting one of the links and recreating it. Also make Sure that you always have enough He3 available by creating a bunch of extractors (I usually end up With 5) and 3 or 4 large gas storage boxes. I suspect that you ran out of He-3. I will Check this evening and Tell you the exact configuration. I also give IT some time to produce some He-3 bevor setting up the intersystem links. But this is normaly all ok when having traveled back and forth for All the links. I also suspect the game to be dependend on the sequence you put Things up... I also Sometimes had it, when the links between containers broke, which is a real mess, when it are 10 or more of them stacked, needing to seperate each and delete and recreate the link...
I was just curios, so I looked quickly this morning. Freya I: 6 He3 extractors, with 7 big gas storages + 1 intersystem link. I probably dont need such much storage boxes, I think, I have much less on Freya III Freya III: He3: 2 big gas storages Sedatives: 4 medium water extractors 2 big liquid storages 2 greenhouses 6 big storages 1 seperate intra-system link to Vega II-C Chlorine: 2 medium chlorine extractors 7 big gas containers 1 seperate intra-sysem link to Vega II-C Vega II-C: similar to your set-up. I have looked up the capacity of each container for the respective content and have build enough to hold the contents for 7000+ batches of O2-Shots. One importan thing is to have no multi-purpose links, use one link for one type of goods and only one-directional. I have also a quite complex setup to make Vitynium rods, that involves i think 12 outposts with several stages of transport. Once setup it works quite well, I had to recreate some links only once or twice. Much more often it happened that the connections between storage containers got broken. I love your set up because it is not as complex (only 3 outposts) and gives good results. I hope you manage to get it up and running as you desire.
Just a couple points... 1) You can find *everything* you need for 02 shots on Schrödinger III. Of course, you need to be high enough level to survive on a Level 65 system. 2) If you put the pharma lab on that outpost, you can craft everything directly without having to manually collect or transfer anything. And if you're close enough to your ship, then you just open cargo and dump the O2 shots there. :-) Finally, I really like your idea of using the small containers to identify input and output connections. I'm definitely going to make use of that.
Cool -- I assume you animal husband the Loxodont for Sedative? How well does that work? I had issue where they animals only spawn in real game time. That's why I used a greenhouse for Sedative.
@@RichardBejtlich First, I goofed. That should have been you can find everything in the Schrodinger *system*. The Chorine comes from Schrodinger II and the fiber needed for the production line comes from Schrodinger IV. Correct, Sedative from Loxodont (hence the need for fiber). I haven't had trouble raising them. Actually, from what I've seen both farm activities only run while in-game. Just takes longer for fauna. I may post the full operation over on Reddit at some point.
Not sure why anyone has credit issues in this game requiring long laborious methods to acquire credits. But I respect the methods used. On XBOX I have no issue acquiring credits by simply playing the game. Stealing ships , picking up weapons, building outposts etc.
3:45 Copernicus IV has a 1:100 ratio as well, in addition to not having a Habitation skill rank requirement. Let's you place a sleeping bag next to the outpost beacon for immediately use. 33:00 02 Shot recipe produces 2x per craft.
I counted the creation process and it looks like I crafted roughly 70 batches of 98 or 99 O2 Shots each. That’s roughly 7000, not the roughly 14000 in my inventory. My inventory did not have O2 shots previously. I think the system glitched, unless anyone can detect something else about this process?
You can move your outpost beacon closer to your habs and it doesn't mess with the outpost sector when you first established it. I always find it annoying myself when you travel to your outpost you spawn right at that beacon. So I moved mine.
Yep moving your beacon can cause your entire outpost to disappear. I lost 3 that way couldn’t figure out why it was happening, of course this doesn’t happen to everyone. Just a lucky few 😢
I am not using mods to farm the O2 Shots. How does that make a difference? I mentioned that if I want to sell them easier, I can do that at a kiosk, which yes, requires a mod. I'm doing a vanilla Xbox playthrough of this same setup right now in my "Becoming Heisenberg" series. You'll see the result is exactly the same once I publish the last 2 videos in the series. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
Yes indeed. It’s my “Becoming Heisenberg” video series. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tlGxp2_UzD0.html It starts from a brand new character and goes to the level needed to build this same sort of outpost. I just streamed part 4, where I extract the bulk resources I need. I will publish Thursday night. Part 5 will show how to build the site step by step using the materials. That will stream soon and then be on RU-vid the next day.
