Nice! I used to jettison those things out my cargo hold by the dozen when I was editing ships, now I find myself hoarding them in every color like they were aluminium because they're so useful as outpost decor

If rocks or trees spawn inside one of your habs, putting a floor mat over it in the hab or on the floor outside if the landscape is invading from just outside the hab walls will usually makes them disappear, and stay disappeared, even if you delete the floor mat or furniture afterwards. Unfortunately I have yet to find a fix for the toxic vents though

Ha thanks! all the keyboardless monitors were killing me till i picked up one of those trays, The lab on Kreet has become my go to spot to farm them whenever I start building another office

Good luck!! I felt the same way when I was first looking at the new system, but once you play around with it, its remarkably versatile. There's a lot more furniture items to start with in this game, and the large variety of junk objects scattered around the game add a lot of possibilities too.

I haven't been able to reliably spot any water from space yet besides the oceans, but have started to find more water as I travel around. This one is a swamp biome on Hyla II, I believe in the same cell as the camp you visit with Andreja if you've done her quest, I'm pretty sure I walked along the large lake near that landing spot till the landscape opened up again and found it out there. One thing that sometimes helps when looking for good locations, is to find a high point, like the top of a mountain, then jet pack up as high as you can, and switch to photo mode. You can use that to do a pretty wide visual scan of an area to see if you can spot any lakes or other interesting features
