Saw the mod uploaded on the CC last night and just wanted to see it in action before downloading it. This mod is so well thought out with the mechanics and roleplay ability. Just phenomenal job overall. Can’t wait to try this out later.
I'm having an issue on Xbox, when I go to sell the prisoners I will select the dialogue option and it will quickly disappear and then reappear without anything happening and preventing me from selling them, do you have any idea on why or how to fix?(I did some digging and found out others are having this issue aswell)
I'm on xbox, I have both mods I however cannot find the patch. The only problem I'm encountering is that once I send them to the brig and I go to an officer, I can see the text to exchange the prisioner for money but I'm stuck there. I click the option but it does nothing. I don't get paid nor does the prisioner leave the ship.
The patch came a little after NLF and UB, should be available now. Unfortunately, I don't own an Xbox to test/verify. Would be good to know if others are also getting this and if it occurs in new game.
Still doesn't work on xbox. It's my only 3 mods also. Went to the same uc security guard too. Cant claim the bounty. Let us know if you ever find the issue or update it. I think if you can't test this on xbox since you don't have one, it should be labeled as a PC only mod. In my opinion.
@@JaredKohr I'm also experiencing this issue on PC as well but i've got a ton of mods installed to. select to sell, screen blinks, text comes up again, rinse and repeat. all other aspects work though!
Being one shot knocked out and imprisoned by enemies, is that in this? Where after being imprisoned, either get rescued, ransomed, or try to escape. One shot knockout out EM would need cover & peak system flushed out. Ive seen npcs do it. Would be also fun when getting imprisoned, they could get rescued. And if the players bonding with constellation is low, constellation never comes. Or rather what ever faction one has highest closeness factor - that faction npc comes to rescue. If none then the player is forced to be a slave (like a xenofish employee churning out drugs, frames, ammo, or stitching bullet holes in suits etc) - trying best to escape, ie disabling security, finding spacesuit, pack, safe path out, a spaceship. But gets zapped by collar. Or caught by robot. Or dies/released. Then game loads one of scenarios found in ng+ without having a starborn suit or starborn ship.
Worked pretty flawlessly on xbox until I encountered the “your ship can’t hold any more prisoners” message after a bit. Can’t seem to get it to work anymore. I’ve changed brigs and all
I do not, but I'm sure it will make its way over with time. A lot of people are learning how to navigate around official tools and changes from recent patches.
You a man that can keep their composure, I just could not wait and I’m downloading new mods everytime I play the game 😅 not sure if that’s healthy for my save file
Also i don’t know where or who to recommend this to but I know there is a limited amount of people with the ability to post creations, so I will recommend them to you if you would like to make them I’d really appreciate that and be amazed. But I think it would be cool to have the Star-born as kaminoans from Star Wars just to have them in the game(it would make sense to me because Barrett gets a clone in my play through) . Or even better add them completely separately with their own quest line where you can create a clone army 🤯🤯😩. Some other minor detail creation ideas could be to add some more camera shake/ movement while walking in first person so I don’t feel like a ghost floating. And also add some height variety among the npcs and also the player character(I’d love that. Or even a first person camera height to like 10-20% higher for more immersion because it’s not often I’m eye to eye with every single person I encounter 😂 I know this was in fallout and Skyrim so I’m sure it could be done in starfield as well, I’d be a little disappointed if it weren’t possible somehow though 😮😅 but you creation maker dudes/ gals are very talented and creative so I’m sure there will be a way.
Ooooooo and a mod to name the crew members for the outpost (the generic npcs that spawn in dinners like outpost management specialist) and possibly one to modify there appearances 🥹
Question, what happens to the npc after they're sold? Are they put in jail or released back into the population. Jw so I don't make someone dissappear that I don't want to
@@thedepressedfatguy4070 Sorry, i try a lot of things with this mod, even changing the load order but didnt work, so i just unistall this mod, hope we can geta some help with it. Sorry per mio english
It’s called a Novablast. You can find them on enemy NPCs randomly or you can buy them at gun stores. The official vendor who should always have them is in the lobby if the Ryujin building in Neon. Since the latest update, you can also use the social skill perks Diplomacy and Manipulation, accessed through your scanner, to get enemies into a state where you can send to brig or, if using Non-Lethal Framework, restrain them.
I just got the useful brigs but haven't tried it yet. Will prisoners keep Andreja from sleeping in the cells instead of the dozen beds on my ship? I'll keep them as "crew" if so, lol.
Your mod works great but my crew keeps hanging out in the cells with my prisoners. My prisoners stopped wearing their jail clothes too. Do you know of any mods that could be affecting its function?
@@ShaggyShagz13 I don’t unfortunately. But I have a theory regarding NPCs in brigs. The game may choose to ignore the “Ignored by Sandbox” flag if it wasn’t there on the reference when the game first loaded it. NG+ may help, but not much I can do if the function with the name to control the feature doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do :/ I could assign ownership to all the things as a workaround, but I also thought that would take away from player choice if you wanted to sleep in the bed because you didn’t have another on board and no prisoner was around.
Cheers Jared! Excited to install these mods when I get chance to play Starfield again. Makes my diplomatic build make sense and will make the game for me! Do you have anywhere I can drop a donation for your time creating the mod?
The Nexus allows for donations to authors from the mod page, if that works for you. Not required of course, but much appreciated. I’d also be interested in your feedback as someone using a diplomatic build, as I’m looking to expand the behavior for those pacified by diplomacy. How would you feel about it being more of a temporary surrender as opposed to a mutual ceasefire?
Vanilla hab unit HopeTech armory. Taiyo also has brigs with n their 2x1 armories. You can also go to the ship manufacturer directly for the larger 2x2 brig habs.
This is great for a non lethal playthrough. Hopefully they will figure out a way to avoid having to melee them or introduce a Cyberpunk mechanic whereby we can just knock them out permanently.
The EM system could be scripted, so that when they are knocked out, upon waking up, they immediately are in cuffs. Then you can spend a resource to collar them to bring onto the brigs, and they basically fade away like they use a door.
Great Mod but can't get it to function right now (see previous reply to selling bug where dialogue is selectable but doesn't go through when clicking). Would love it if you posted your load order on PC so I can get this to work. The Bounty Hunter gameplay loop is sooo strong w/ your mod and the others being posted.
Others have reported this, but I can't reproduce it. One theory is it's happening for MO2 users. Do you use MO2 as a mode manager? What happens if you try to place the files directly in the Starfield/data folder?
@@JaredKohr I'm using the Bethesda Creation suite via Nvidia GeForce Now cloud streaming so can't place files 😕 all mods redownload anytime I log back in but it always works
Does this work with the Taiyo and Hopetech armories? They have a small bunk bed space locked behind a terminal. If not, is there any chance you could update the mod with this functionality? It would allow for smaller ships to take advantage of this wonderful mod!
If you mean in the industrial workbench, then you either dont have Non-Lethal Framework installed/active or there is some other conflict/issue going on.
@@kingforlifeentertainment6865 Will need way more details. What version of the mods are installed (latest?)? Installed midsave? Did you test on a new game, NG+? Who is the person you're trying to handcuff? Did you KO them, or are they pacified via diplomacy or manipulation? Xbox or PC? You can take these details and log a bug report on the mod page. Providing a save game may also help.
If you’re the creator of this mod, thank you I’ve been enjoying it with my bounty hunter play through 🙌🏻 very immersive. But I’m having a problem with turning the bounties in and releasing them, when I go to speak to a guard to collect the credits and I press select it goes away and then pops back up a second later and nothing happens. The bounties stay in my brig and I don’t get paid, is it a bug?
Also when I try to release them from my brig they don’t leave they just pretend their apart of my crew which I don’t like 😅😂 reminds me of when I was spying on the crimson fleet. And they still take up the space in the brig
@@NobleMCO Released NPCs are supposed to be removed on landing/takeoff. The turn in issue should be resolved in v3.2 (or latest if your on xbox... they dont let me go in to manually edit the version #).
You can try to edit your ship, which forces a refresh of the bed count. If you add in a 2x2 brig that has a terminal, that terminal will tell you current brig stats: detected bed and prisoners/what type. If the brig on your ship is added by a mod that isn’t patched or another mod overwrites my changes then that could be another cause.
@@JaredKohr I already had one of those added another and fixed the problem although there is no one in my brig it gave me the option to sell my prisoner
I'll need someone to let me know if they issue still persists after jumping through unity or on a fresh save. It could be for some unknown reason adding mid-game is an issue.
This legitimately makes the game 100x better 🙏🏼 I made a fat cyborg bounty hunter that looks like me using a few other mods , and now I’ve built a super clean taiyo “prison ship” that I can finally fill up
