We need this ship. We can't show up for an undercover mission in the Crimson Fleet flying some civilian junk. They'll know we're working for SysDef immediately. So grab a Wight III or Hyena III and get it fit for service.
Unfortunately the Crimson Fleet and the Spacers have been taking interior design lessons from the Va'Ruun. Fun for the takover fight , but a confusing maze when you need to get to work after the battle.
Once you grab these powerful ships, the first order of business is to make them work for us. With the May Update the Landing Pad with Shipbuilder has more parts than ever, making this renovation easier.
In this guide, we remix the Crimson Fleet Wight III changing almost every interior component to make it one of the best exploration/combat platforms for the game.
The registration for this ship is only 58k credits, but the rest of the work can be done for under 45k (with Commerce and Kryx discounts). Hard to find a better deal from a legit vendor.
By the end we're good to go for almost any mission in the game, space combat and still a have room to build a bar in the basement.
This ship shares a design with the Spacer Hyena III and the Crossbow (available from vendors for over 300K).
