Thank you for featuring my mod. The description changed after the previous versions were deleted. The mod use to require resources but it seemed to be hated by users and they wanted credits so they didn't have to haul around resources. The new release is actually the 5th rebuild as complaints came in about literally every decision. The wipe i was talking about, is all items placed from previous versions would disappear if the previous version was deleted. when i wrote up the new description i tried to answer all questions from previous versions to quickly get through the switch over.
At the request of users they were trying to get the decoration items in the previous version 2.6 into categories with multiple versions of items as variants rather than adding individual rows to the decoration menu. There was a fatal issue in that version that made it impossible to achieve this and was crashing the Creation Kit, so to be able to meet user requests they had to start the mod from scratch. Anything placed in builds using version 2.6 would be lost as this has now been removed. Assuming the mod is now stable, this is a one time only thing for legacy builds.
it felt a lot the items on the list were pulled from original... but i love the idea of having so many more furniture items to decorate from... this will be on my watch list
I spend a lot of time building settlements in FO4 but not much time with Starfield outpost building. Now that we have more options thanks to high value mods like this Im getting ready to start building my outpost.
I’ve replaced this mod two times now in the middle of a Playthru with about 50 to 100 mods and it’s never caused my game to crash or glitch out but you lose all the items if you swap to the new mod.You just end up with a bunch of floating items and that’s it.
Anything you used to decorate with gets wiped out with every update. Doesn't matter what he says. He hasn't figured out how to add to available items already loaded. Ask me how I know!
The new 3.0 is a replacement, not an update. the only update was in the 2nd verison 2.0, updated to 2.5 ,which replaced 1.0. (had all new IDs) all three were individual mods, not updates. all were built in the span of 2 weeks with no help and learning as i go. apologies if a free mod i spent 146 hrs of my time on slightly inconvenienced you.
I've already lost all the decorations more than once, which is frustrating. I was foolish enough to redownload the mod and decorate all over again. Those assets disappeared as well. I like the idea of the mod a lot. I commend the mod author for trying, but I need to stop messing with the emporium for awhile. At least until he stops tinkering with it so much.
