Well, I finally plugged back into the internet on Starfield for the latest updates and creations. I look forward to more free missions from Trackers Alliance. Bethesda created mods still allow you to continue any characters already in progress without making a creation save. I started a new Star Wars creation character as Darth Maul as a bounty hunter with introvert and terra firma traits. Man, that dude can sprint forever before he gets winded. Better graphics and 60fps are a big improvement. Selling unregistered ships glitch is still possible, thankfully. Loot drops have gotten better for pirates and Ecliptics. Thanks Dean Po.
Definitely my favorite sniper. Mag can be fun, with the charge mechanic, but can't be silenced so is truly a long range rifle if you want to stay hidden. The HT is silent full damage just waiting to be point and clicked. Charged by multiple level 60+ enemies with the new melee weapons can get a little scary on extreme, though. My go to for that is wormhole and a semi-auto advanced armor piercing Beowulf emptied into the ball. Even if it takes 60 to 90 rounds. When it comes to bullets sometimes quantity has a quality all of it's own.
Love the HardTarget, by far my favourite weapon- you don’t need to carry any other weapon once you get comfortable with the mag size and reload speed. Just the ammo is a pain if playing survival with no vendors to start with. But soon you will get enough to dominate any facility. Does struggle with swarming aliens though if in enclosed spaces.
"But DeanPo you are not suppose to use a sniper rifle indoors" That is because it does not work in the real world. Sniper Rifle: "A sniper rifle is a high-precision, long-range rifle." Assault Rifle: "short, compact, selective-fire weapons that fire a cartridge intermediate in power between submachine gun and rifle cartridges."
My Hard Target is a legendary and now has damage of 1857, ROF 41, Mag 20. Mods are 7/7 of which two are Penetrator Rounds and High Powered. Can’t go wrong with a Hard Target for sniping and even some close quarter if not extremely outnumbered.
I got a Legendary Titanium hard target from the Trackers alliance vendor for 3 Astra’s, I kept reloading until I got something good. Take care, Melbourne, Australia
I have a rare with exterminator and I also have a legendary with out it and the rare worked a lot better on aliens but of course “we” already knew that right…take care stay safe ✌️
@@johnroberts838you got something other than akila guns? I always feel like I only get tombstones or coachmans, sometimes the occasional bridger… I was starting to feel his loot pool was limited to those
Well. If you wanted 10 rounds in the chamber instead of 5 you could mod it at a workbench. Just choose Large Magazine instead of Penetrator Rounds or Armor-Piercing. Yes. You'll lose some damage doing that. But not a whole lot. It's worth it to some.
You should see what this gun can do with the DarkStar Manufacturing mod. More than double the dmg and add the perks that you want, and you can do that with any of the guns in the game. Unlike most of the other mods that I've tried, you won't be the only one with them the NPCs will have them too. It answers the question about being too OP in higher levels. My character is level 162 and I needed some resources to craft some guns so I found a facility but I couldn't even get through the door of the first room before getting one tapped. It happened 4 or 5 times. When I finally got in I found out why. They already had some of these guns. So you don't really have to craft them you can loot them off of the enemies.
You should download the legendary recycler and then you can make any gun you want. You’re still going out and looking for legendary mods to mix and match them the way you want. I have a hard target with 1 inch punch. It’s ridiculous.
Double check but I'm pretty sure they fixed sneak bonus with hydrated. With maxed sneak I am getting 5.4 times sneak attack damage instead of 48 times.
Meanwhile the Advanced Arboron Novastrike Sniper has taken the throne, even without legendary effects. It's much stronger against robots than the Hard Target, and against anything else. Is Bethesda content a mod? I got 1000 ingame credits free, so 700 for the Vulture Mission is worth it.
Maybe. But when I walk down the Midtown Strip in Akila sporting my Advanced Hard Target with suppressor and long scope people give way with a nod and respect. Try doing that with the Aboronation.
Agreed. It just looks, sounds and feels really good to use. Modded mine to be legendary lol Shattering/Staggering/Instigating. Originally had Rapid instead but the increase in fire rate was barely noticeable (10-12.5).
There is a new mod in the store that increase magazine size by 50%. That said it’s my favorite weapon as my game play is mostly stealth. Your playstyle is very aggressive and opposite of my playstyle. It’s omega reason among many why I love the Hard Target and mine is an Advance version, fully modded.
This one specifically is just luck of the draw. The best instigating Hard Target I've found is blue, but that's more than enough. In general, though, they'll show up in the dedicated gun shops in Neon and New Atlantis after level 30. I don't know that I've ever seen one in the general Firearms store in Akilla (Rowlings). And definitely not in Laredo.
Finding one with legendary perks requires having the luck of the draw out in the wild. Save scumming is one of your best bets. I’ll be honest, I’ve got some 14-1500 hrs into this game and I probably have literal days accumulated just in save scumming alone. I’ve only ever managed to find a rare (blue) Instigating Advanced Hard Target which I used as one of my main weapons for most of my play through. Once mods came out, that HT became a Shattering, Staggering, Instigating HT lol
😅😂 that's not even close to the most powerful gun in the game . Kore makes a sniper rifle that can easily double the damage of the Hard Target . I have played to over level 150 , and at that level I could use the weapons workbench . And make that sniper rifle have over 1100 hit damage per shot .
