Run this route for 50 DIGIPICKs per reset. Repeat for unlimited digipicks at the top vendors.
Hit 18 vendors that consistently sell Digipicks across major cities and outposts. Find the top three vendors for digipick quanity and reset cycle.
NEW or RETURNING PLAYER-FRIENDLY guide. New players finishing Vectera and Kreet typically have 10+ digipicks in inventory.
Follow this route to buy and steal another 50+. We finish with 67 digipicks on a level 5 character.
More than enough to level Security through Rank 4 (requires a minimum of 45 digipicks).
Identify the TOP vendors with the most digipicks on planets with great Local to Universal time conversions. If you prefer to stay in one place, sipping your Terrabrew or Tranquilitea you can WAIT to reset them and stay in one place.

Starting off is always the challenge. After the update I find that my past practice of hoarding every digipick I see leads to hundreds in my inventory. I always get a ton in the abandoned mine poi- the turret one, not the tower one.

Digipicks are a problem that goes away quickly, especially for experienced players. I'm still focused on NG+ content, but wandered into some new / returning player stuff with the May Update so I thought I'd add this on digipicks to go with the Security Skill one.

It's taking real restraint to delay making a 'potato gathering video' next full of Hobbit references. That quest is such an infrequent occurrence for players that I'll wait until I get some of other videos done first. It also makes and excellent case for save scumming a persuasion roll (or just blowing up the ship depending on your patience). ;)

I buy the digipics in the well and go to Vlads VIlla where there are 5 laying around. I never buy another. There are plenty to find at the templates I clear.

Mostly an alternative for new players not ready to dive into combat POIs. I know a few people that 'stuck to the cities' early in the game until they really felt they had their feet under them. All depends on the player.

Might be worth noting that chasing digipicks at vendors takes more time than choosing the right vendor and playing the waiting game. Would we rather spend 20 minutes sitting mostly watching a countdown or 30 minutes wanding, watching cut scenes, unlocking destinations? idk really, but I try to assume players come in all styles and I am trying to optimize or provide options for as many as I can imagine. I'm probaby bad at that, but it's a goal! Thanks JR, always appreciate your comments.

I'll mention that in order to create the Thumbnail for the video, I had to drop all 67 digipicks on the floor of the Frontier and move them individually onto the table. The amount of searching and testing I'll do to make videos for you has a limit, but it's already a little crazy. :) Thanks for watching.

@Kineer Does the contraband from the almighty still respawn? I've been trying to get it to respawn but it's not working can you check on your end and if it's been changed will you make an update video?

The routine ones as Neon and Vulture's Roost seem OK lately. Not sure which contraband is the almighty one (brain fog here).
