Riding the Star Flyer by yourself gave me some of the most unnerving feelings I've had on a ride and I've done the Orlando Drop tower several times and even skydived. It's the weight distribution the swings pivot inwards than outwards and doesn't feel right at all. It's much better when someone is sitting next to you.

@@talanmessina9079 That only happened because the ride had been tampered with to allow the ride to operate when the restraints were open too far. As built , the ride would have refused to dispatch until the problem was addressed.

Gosh, this made me want to puke watching it. Just recently did a swing ride over water with my 6 year old daughter and it was the most longest & terrifying ride I’ll never do again!! All there was fir safety was the drop bar and when it tilted back & forth I thought she was gonna slip right out!! She’s so skinny and I kept taking my foot and trying to tilt the seat back when it leaned forward! Scared me to death trying to keep her safe along with the nausea I had instantly with the ride and it felt like 8 whole minutes of horror. Never again!!!!!!

The tallest ride I’ve been on is the drop tower Falcons Fury at Tampa Bays Busch Gardens and that is probably my cut off for height. That was scary.

Funny you should ask that. I 100% beleived that to be the case right up until we boarded. They are actually to put your persoanl items in (hats, glasses, etc) if you stick until the end of the video youll see where you have to make it to barf (my son legit lost his lunch)

I was in Orlando in January-February this year for a week for a family vacation. We went to the Icon Park Aquarium and we saw this ride in motion in person. It's a lot scarier and higher in person than it is on video. I would never have the guts to get on this. I love rides but this thing would terrify me. I went on a swing ride called the Vertigo that goes up just under 100ft in the air and that was enough for me. You wouldn't be able to pay me enough to ride this. Lol. It's not the height that scares me. It's the feeling of not being secured into the ride and like you're gonna fall out. These rides just do not feel safe.

I went on one of these at our local fair. And I didn't like it at all. The feeling of free movement up really high like 20 feet. No thanks. I feel like I'm gonna die. I would never go on one of those again. Idk how you had the guts to ride that. The entire video I was very anxious and I kept saying to myself: oh hell no. I would die.

Local riggers have advised not to take that ride due to the construction. ICON has already killed one guy due to poor safety features. Yes he dropped to his death.

I can certainly understand that. The unfortunate guy who fell to his death was a worker not a rider and does that give me concern for their protocols? Heck yes it does!

@@Shelby407 The unfortunate rider was an overweight 14 year old rider on the free fall ride on I Drive. It’s been all over the news how he slipped through the harness due to it not fitting correctly. Accidents happen, but this was avoidable.

@@mv3240 i thought you were talking about the swing ride. You are correct about the 14 YO. That was on the drop tower ride and yes someone made an adjustment to the seat allowing for him to fit on the ride. Obviously a tragic ending to that young mans life. Thay ride remains closed.

@@Shelby407NO I wasn't hating the whole video, just the go-pro 360 affects. It just didn't show what the view really looks like through human eyes. So it didn't give me the real feel of how high you guys went.
