It's not quite what you want but try searching for a fox in space. It's a fan series that takes a more gritty look at starfox and is a treat animation-wise to watch.
It's so sad how few games Star Fox has had, it's too good of a series to get neglected by Nintendo like this. The best game Star Fox has had in years was a guest starring role in the Ubisoft game Starlink which, granted, was very good and gave Fox a main character playable role, but he needs his own game.
