They did.. 😊but it's a blink and you miss it moment. Watch very carefully the ending of 'Threads' 🤗

And there's a reiteration of their being together at the end of season 8th , specifically Mobius 2, when he's saying "you've got packing to do" and then we see them both on the pier at his cabin.

Sam and Jack WHERE really good together untill he got Promoted ! to Brigader General after that it went down hill a little bit ish ;
