Its very unfortunate b3cause he was 62 when he did his last season and passed away at 65. Im aure he wbjoyed doing every bit of acting he did over his carrer but its sad he didn't get to really enjoy a long retirement.
Wow, it's impressive when youre reminded that RDA is like 20 years older than the other members of SG1. They are as old now as he was during the later parts of the show!
I'd argue that Anderson did... If you compare 50s to 50s and not 50s to 70s. Shanks is the age Anderson was during the show and damn if Jack wasn't super grumpy silver fox...
Macgyver is the only one who actually looks aged and has some lines on his face. All the rest just have some extra 'material' added to their face but are otherwise the same. Teal'c hasn't changed at all, just his hair
Btw Richard Dean Anderson looks so much better now. He kind put on some weight and wasn't looking too good. Recently saw him on a panel and he lost all the weight and his hair shorter and he looks more healthy.
He's also 15-21 years older than the other members of SG-1. Shanks, Judge, and Tapping are only just now getting to be about the age he was during the later parts of the show.
No offense to Anderson but he looks like he did and that one episode believe it was called something Candle where he aged horribly It was called Brief Candle
