Y’all remember how they said the shades darkness needs a host? Well when he died it showed the darkness going somewhere so maybe it’s going to inhabit Jenny’s brother and that’s how he becomes Obsidian.

1:04 Seeing Pat so happy over seeing Dr. Mid-Nite again was really wholesome.

Idk why but I felt a X-Men vibe moment between Shade and Dr Midnight, those two were rivals and friends. Also the way Shade said "Charles" with that British voice reminded me of Magneto always calling Professor X (Charles)

I do hope Shade isn't dead just gone back to the shadow land to truly recover.

Courtney is so happy to be back home..

I have a feeling that either A. The Shade is not dead or B. He ties into Obsidian getting his powers.

Good that the Shade not only rescued Courtney but also that girl who was her enemy and also saved Doctor Mid-Nite and departed a hero.

Earlier in the episode it is shown, that the Shade is in two places at the same time. That copy of the Shade died, but one version is still very much alive. The Shade with his powers is too important not to fight Eclipso and Obsydian. Furthermore there is the story of his sister. And the actor is just beyond amazing

I don't believe he is dead, but merely a part of his plan. Shade looked just fine when his powers were linked back to the shadow world. He wasn't in pain and acted like he was fully healed as he didn't have to hold his stomach. The Shade wanted the wand for a reason and went to Barbara specifically probably to tip her off he was there. Shade probably needed Starman to kill the host for the black diamond and Eclipso was free from the diamond at that point as well. Im guessing Shade can't kill the host because of the connection to the shadow world and that is why he wanted the wand so he didn't need to depend on someone else doing it. I don't see Shade feeling to bad about killing someone as long as his plan was successful. He knew Eclipso would send Courtney to the shadow world rather than straight up kill her. Shade probably wanted sent Courtney there knowing she was least likely to succumb to the shadows. He also knew Courtney wouldn't leave Cindy and that they would figure out he could bring her back. I don't see Shade miscalculating that far off and sacrificing his life as it seemed it was more to establish an emotional connection to Barbara for some reason. He knows exactly what he is doing and how to direct the ramifications of those actions to his favor.

When I found out Shade isn't dead I was happy and shocked at the same time. He really reminds me of Loki.

Shade has opened the portal in the movie theater..

That kid's acting is great. The exact opposite of the child actor in Supergirl S6. And Cindy, there's no redemption for her. At least Alice over in Batwoman was brainwashed, that was Bucky/Red Room stuff. But everything Cindy did, was all her. In fact, if she really just wanted vengeance on her dad, then she wouldve stopped the villainy after his death. But no, she kept going & tried to form a new ISA. And even then, she screwed over Artemis. So Cindy has alot of enemies. She's pretty much Azula. And you know Yolanda would not hesitate to kill her if the black diamond plan fails. The only good thing Cindy can do, is sacrifice herself.

So the chances of obsidian appearing is high now as it could go to Todd, and I think the new roster would be (wildcat,Dr midnight,hourman,jade,obsidian,jakeem thunder and star girl or jade and jakeem replace hourman and wildcat) but I don’t expect a flash to show up as well my theory is that the flash comes from another world as pat seemed shocked to see jay arrive or a flash could arrive but maybe max mercury or Jesse quick as jay said that he was teaching a new speedster the ropes but that already might be impulse

I do not think he died, he will appear in the final fight against Eclipso, The Shade is the only one who can defeat him, also he is more powerful than before he was in two places at the same time so he has not died, he is immortal, he should continue in the third season maybe he will become Obsidian and go to the band of good guys

It's a huge huge mistake killing off the shade. He's such a unique character in DC and they should be keeping him around.

They thought Cindy was gonna attack them lol

It shows a sign of her personality that she thought it was a good idea to rescue this witch who had brought the demon that sent them to that "Perdition Dimension" from there; maybe they'll take Cinthia in, due perhaps to Courtney's testimony, that'd make for an interesting domestic arrangement indeed!

movie bug in season2 end of episode 11 at 2:42min during shade smokes away the cinema seat stay up and not spring up for like a spring load seat 😂😂

I say that, because in the previews for the next episode, Yolanda explodes on Courtney by saying to her in summary "Are you *nuts*?! She made my life Hell in High School, now you want us to *trust her* of all people- that *witch* really worked me over! I'm not buying it!", that sounds about right.

Hey if Courtney brought Dr. Mid-nite and Cindy back with her, then why didn’t she bring that Isaac Bowen or Rebecca McNider as well? In the promo for this episode I saw Isaac in the shadow realm, and we all thought he was dead and I’m guessing if Isaac’s in the shower around then Rebecca must be in there too. And maybe even Bobby Burman.

When Jennifer was looking for The Shade, why did they say that he was in two different places aft the same time? Is the essence of The Shade still alive in The Shadow Lands or somewhere else?
