I totally agree with Alex! The first time i watched HMB the music reminded me of a video whereas the whole setup and feel of the stage and costumes reminded me of a comic book :)

I absolutely loved the show. The music was probably my favorite part, though I did love the new people they introduced into the cast. (but since no spoilers I won't say anything more about that.) Plus, as a convenience thing, I loved that they had the show only blocks from my apartment :)

They threw a cane into the audience??? Lol! But I still find the funniest blooper was at my school musical. A character was supposed to fake slap someone else but he accidentally hit her for real. Then one of my friends told me it looked really real. I just cracked up and she stared at me.

I agree with Dylan about the "respectfully making fun of things." That's exactly what I told my sister when she asked why I like a show that made fun of Harry Potter, because they aren't like MAD, or any of those shows that actually make fun of something. They're... Starkid, they know what they're doing.

So did I! It was so funny watching Darren and Joe Moses watch the rest of the StarKids perform. It made the whole experience even better than it was when I watched it that afternoon. I talked to Darren afterwards about the show. It was totally awesome lol.

It's a good thing that I didn't know this show was being performed until now. I go to school in the chicago area but was home on break during all the show dates. If I'd know about this before break I would have been unhappy. Now I can just sit back and excitedly wait for it to come out on youtube!

I spy Paper Towns :) Also, it's so awesome that there's so many people who just love a college theater group so much. Like at SPACE they seemed /more/ than that, but here they're /are/ that. And the one that goes on RU-vid doesn't need to be perfect, AVPM apparently had tons of improv-ed lines and those were some of the best
